I loved eating the Nabisco chocolate wafers but they have been discontinued. My search for a replacement led me to Dewey's Bakery Brownie Crisp Cookie thins. And they are excellent! These are more delicate but have great brownie flavor. LOVE that they do not have any artificial flavors, synthetic colors or preservatives. Will definitely order again

Saints be praised!! There was a weeping and rending of clothes when Nabisco inexplicably stopped selling its famous chocolate wafers, because icebox cakes have been at the center of all our family celebrations going back 60 years. These wafers are PERFECT for icebox cakes; in fact I think they’re a bit better than Nabisco’s. For one thing, they’re more chocolate-y, with a richer flavor. For another, they’re have the requisite crispiness that the others sometimes lacked. The cookies arrived in perfect condition. That was only a couple of days ago, and it’s been an orgy of icebox cake eating ever since.

These are delicious. Crunchy. Chocolatey and thin. Just the right texture, sweetness and cocoa. If the cookies had arrived unbroken, I would have rated them 5. (Actually they are so delicious I’d rate them 8 out of 5 for taste.) The box contains two plastic sleeves of cookies. I ended up with one sleeve of delicious chocolate cookies and one sleeve of messy crumbs; for the broken cookies, I had to deduct a star. They were crumbly not just broken…. Obviously so yummy, they still get 4 stars - even with the disappointment. I will definitely be buying these again but maybe not online.

Great chocolate flavor!

Every year my mom made me and icebox cake for my birthday, well they stopped making to chocolate wafer cookies. Tried this as a substitute and it was so good! Different but good different. Wafers are a little smaller making the cake not as big but that didn’t matter it was still really good! Will be getting another box for my next birthday and birthdays to come.

Good cookies but quite a few were broken. Bottom of box was crushed. They’re my replacement for Nabisco wafers for ice box cake!

Love them! Perfect for making crust and for eating a couple of them as well. But too expensive. I use them to make a chocolate soufflè pie for Christmas... used to use the chocolate wafers you could get at the grocery store, but they have disappeared completely. So I guess I'll have to get some chocolate sandwich cookies and open them and scrape out the cream to make the crust. With the cream, the crust is too mild in flavor to work with the pie filling. But these cookies were so fresh and delicious to eat.
