I wasn't certain about purchasing a product like this. After researching the brand and the laws about using a tazer in my state, I found a solution that will work for me and my family. My only complaint, if any, is that the company doesn't offer a test cartridge. It would be great to practice before actually using.

Luckily, I have not had to use but I love that you can use it with or without the prongs.

Excellent self defense taser

Would be five stars if the web page wasn’t broken. Need to order a charger cable to replace lost part. Seems to work okay, the kids did all their chores since I bought this…

IT IS COMPACT

I was very excited to order this and on arrival I charged it as it says to do so. However the charger cable is so loose that it won’t charge. After playing around got it to stay in the lower outlet just to realize the power wasn’t going through or the red charging indicator is broken. It didn’t light up indicating it’s charging or nit. After over night charging I started to carry it. In day two or three as I was entering my vehicle I heard a bang and tons of smoke coming from inside my car. It was the taser gun that had discharged all on its own. It was very scary I was relived to see it had barely missed me. The car was filled with smoke and like gunpowder smell. Very dangerous if they are all like this , but it has not happened again yet. Also the battery indicator does not work , I have a feeling it’s getting no power that’s why because of the charger cables being so loose and cheaply made. Pay attention to your new toy , it’s not a weapons grade quality it can discharge anytime or not discharge when u need it the most because the charger isn’t working !!! That’s an ugly situation and I don’t want to be in it so I’m returning mine.

I want this to work, of course. Manufacture needs to offer a clear video made by the manufacturer that clearly shows it in action. To tase someone is one thing. But, to shoot the double pins, I can’t visualize how that works with the insertable piece. It would be nice, in fact crucial, to see the whole process, start to finish, on a professionally-made video,.Also, as my photo indicates, reading the letters is virtually impossible without taking a screenshot and enlarging it. So if something happens, and you’re under stress, just hope you hit the right position on the switch.Later: returning it for two reasons. The first one is that the red light indicator never changes colors or goes out to show if it has full charge. Heaven help you if you need it and think it’s charged, use it, and it’s not! Also plugging in the recharger to the unit requires a lot of maneuvering.
