You have found the perfect ice maker!
We LOVE our ice maker! Works perfectly and makes the ice quickly. The right add in our motorhome for having ice for our drinks, keep our drinks in the ice chest cool. I would recommend for anyone looking for the perfect ice making experience. It make about a gallon zip lock bag of ice each time it runs, the ice quality is the right size and consistency. The machine is quality built and the functionality is easy to use and keep clean.

This product is a "bit of alright!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this nugget icemaker and rec'd it two days ago. Here's what I've learned so far.Pros:a) Packaged really well. Unless someone really tried to destroy it, it should come in just fine. Nice job!b) Easy to take all the pieces out, clean and put back together (hint: there aren't many parts, which is nice!)c) They say ice in 6 mins... True but not enough to use. lol My attached video shows this. However, in 20 mins there was enough for one cup. Give it an hour and it'll be about full. It'll auto turn off as the ice gets stuck coming out of the chute so it thinks it's full but it's only about 2/3 full. That's fine. All ice machines will do this. Several glasses worth in an hour.d) Very compact and pretty light.e) Pretty quiet. You can hear it but there is a lot going on inside to create the ice. It's not loud enough to be a bother.f) Delicious nugget ice! No complaints on size or taste!g) Easy to drain, dry off and put away.Cons:I can't come up with any. How long will it last? That's the real question. Only time will tell.Overall, here was my goal. I just wanted to use it for a day, bag up a bunch of ice, drain and dry and put it away until I needed more ice.The reason for this goal was this... My first nugget maker was the GE Profile 2.0. Almost $600. I ran it 24/7 (I use a lot of ice). This was a mistake. Running it that much wore it out too quickly and also dirtied it up too easily. There was no good way to clean it other that hoping the "clean" setting actually did clean it. Well, it didn't. I don't think any can. You can't take any of them apart enough to make sure there isn't black gunk growing in all the guts of the machines. This nugget maker is easier to get too. The top lifts off and you can actually see the inside water tank and the big front tank and clean them both. Much better and a third of the price. Will it make ice as fast? Heck's no. Can I make ice for a few hours and bag it up and put in the freezer? Heck's yeah.I'm going for price now. I'll make ice, clean up the machine and put away for a week.So far, this is a great buy!!

3 Cups of Ice an Hour...Max
Just received this and there are a few things you should know before buying. 33lbs a day is a little misleading because it would literally probably take 24 hours to produce 33lbs and you would have to continually fill the water and remove the ice that was already made. The ice bin in the machine probably holds 5 cups total. If you fill to the max water line, about 5 cups of water, it takes about 20 minutes to the first cup of ice (the first 1/2 cup or so is a little wet and not so well formed, more like crushed ice, and then it moves much more quickly and the nuggets are consistent size. It probably takes about an hour for the first 2.5 to 3 cups of ice. In the mean time, the storage reservoir is not insulated so the ice is just going into a basket, which over time, melts into where you pour the water to make ice (they did suggest putting a fan next to the machine to remedy this issue...what?!) So unless you are removing ice every hour, putting it into the freezer (which will eventually convert from sonic ice to just little slightly crunchy ice cubes, and you will likely need a hammer to break up depending on how long it is in the freezer), this is not going to yield large amounts of ice, like for a party. It is perfect as a novelty appliance for drinks for a couple people. Finally, it is not quiet, a little louder than your dishwasher running, but its on your counter so it seems a bit louder. All and all, if you or your kids are really into the nugget ice, like mine is, it is fun, albeit expensive for what it is. Also, it is portable ( so a little heavy so I bought the tiny Appliance roller wheels so that we could push it back and forth on the counter) so I am sure it will go off to college when the time comes if it lasts that long.

Small but Mighty, Perfect Ice
Small but mighty! This is the best ice machine I have owned. Yes, basket is small, but makes ice fast. Added plus, it is easy to handle and clean. LOVE IT! I've had for one week, hope it lasts. Makes perfect ice and keeps form. So happy with this purchase!!
