Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS

Soooo, let me just begin by saying I became a fan in 2022. I fell into the Bangtan rabbit hole and never looked back, lol. So finding out about this book a year ago, I was beyond excited. I hadn’t been with them for long, and even though I got to learn about them and their story, it was awesome to know they had a biography, basically, coming out about their once-in-a-lifetime, almost fairy-tale story of success.But then I saw the price, lol. So, unfortunately, I knew I had to leave the book for another time. I love the boys, don’t get me wrong, but ya girl is on a budget, y’all.Fast forward to 2024. The boys have, of course, all gone on their military service (with some slowly coming back now!). I checked back here to see if the price had maybe gone down, and I noticed there was a shop that was selling a basically good-as-new copy for $10!!! TEN DOLLARS, y’all. 😭 I almost couldn’t believe it. I ordered it as soon as I could. Shipping was so fast, and when it arrived, let me tell you. The quality was basically perfect. All that was really left out was the book jacket on the outside, which the seller mentioned about beforehand. And that was totally fine with me - all I needed was the book itself, nothing fancier than that. And again, the quality of the book…muah. Chef’s kiss. Basically perfect. And for maybe like…$13 after taxes, I was so so happy, y’all. If you can get it at that price, by all means, go get it.And as for the content itself…WOW. This is just - incredible. A whole goldmine. It goes from the very beginning, their humble rookie days, to their decade-long journey of explosive, glass-ceiling breaking, historic successes. The detail is honestly incredible. It lets us know about them as a group, as individuals (with insight from the members themselves throughout), as part of their company, and even as part of the K-pop industry as a whole. It also has a bunch of QR codes throughout to really immerse you in the talking points, sending you links to the specific video, blog post, song, tweet, and more to really give you the whole experience. The amount of detail and care into writing this is just beyond, honestly.To sum it up: if you’re ARMY, trust me, you’ll absolutely love this. It’s an incredibly well-done archive of the first decade of BTS’s history, full of insight into the group, their artistic process, the members’ feelings, and even the K-pop industry itself. It’s made me love them and their perseverance, hard work, and artistry even more, knowing what it took to go from underdogs to the biggest band in the world. And if you can get it from one of the shops at a lower price, by all means, do! It’s a worthy addition to any fan’s bookshelf. Apobangpo, y’all. 💜

I bought the book May 13th 2023 which was a Friday & I rereading the book & I'm up to page 325 chapter 5. I love the book.

I am a babyfan who is older than most so I don’t profess my love to strangers nor buy everything they might use, or have their name on it. Most of that is to make money so I dont give it a thought. I have zero misconceptions about fame. It’s a double edged sword that most dont realize. It takes sacrifice, dedication, and will take your soul if you let it. I bought this book because I wanted to know more about BTS as real people not their persona. What I read was even worse than I imagined-Straight up there are people who are cruel to those who want to b more, step up, better themselves. This book mostly focused on their mental states during their rise . It takes a certain type of person to go through each obstacle thrown their way and not letting it stop them. Mad respect for that! The book was a little different than what I expected . But it fits them to a T. Blazing paths never done before, doing things differently. This book is a testament to how strong these guys truly are and in today’s world how easy you can get crushed/fall.. This book is filled with raw and honest stories..no picture perfect pretend lives.. For as young as these men are and still are they are to b commended. Others have crumbled/ burnt out quickly with fame. You have to b strong mentally to deal with this world and on a worldwide stage!!! They are 7 strong men who have went through obstacles either together or separately. We all have to learn to have inner strength. Even though they were going through things they still worked hard to do their best! Their determination for a better 2morrw, . Why do I like BTS because I use their stories for hope , to spur me onwards, to never give up even when u have hard moments, to try different things even when its scary. They have taught me lessons and they even know me! Thats some impact:) I respect them immensely . They deserve every praise, every award, every good thing. They deserve happiness every single one! I’m looking forward to the day each of them finds happiness with someone who loves them for them. Til then they have something others dont have a support system each other or army or both:) most dont and will never have that. Hold on to that it’s precious! Fame will always b fleeting, It’s tough to hold on to in the changing world of entertainment. Ride it as long as you can sweet boys x Dont ever lose yourselves x Is this book worth it for baby fans, ARMY, and those just curious YES!! For a glimpse of the bad, the ugly, the anguish that is Fame. It’s not all roses kiddoes. Yes to laying it all bare..Yes to being amazed at their achievements , yes to all they have accomplished . There are not many artists today in this generation that I think positively of less still in the US but I do with these 7 from Korea. Thank you BTS for your uplifting music and your positive messages. We needed this so much xxx

Love it it came prefect

The book came in great condition but what im hear to talk about is the fanominal kpop group BTS I love them so much me and my family have been fans of them for a while now we want to go to their concerts and meet them in person each and every single one of the members are talented and unique in their own ways I love how nice they are and sometimes they can show their mean side bulletproof boy Scouts is a great name for them because that what they are I honestly hope they have an amazing time during the military even though it was so sad to see them go. I just hope everybody who gets this book can see the struggles and the bad moments that they went through to become the amazing men they are today. Love you bts💜🫰🏻purple hearts.
