Much better quality and reliability than I expected at this price.
Very solid machine for the price.I used to work for a high end coffee company, and I'm used to seeing high end La Marzoccho's.The one's we had were north of 10 grand. This is not 5 stars the way one of those would be.It also costs less to buy than the minimum service call charge on one of those. But for a home user who isn't on the bleeding edge of coffee culture - it close enough. At this price point, it gives up a couple of features. You might have to wait a few seconds when switching between brewing and steaming, because it's a single boiler. If those seconds are sufficiently precious to you, there are companies that will return them to you in exchange for an extra $400.I've never had to wait more than 5 seconds.Oh, it also has a time limit on how long continuously the steamer will run. Then it needs a couple seconds to catch it's breath and it good for another cycle.Don't remember how long it runs, but it's good foe steaming 22 oz off 33F milk to the point where it's hot but not scalding. If you need to steam a larger quantity, you can either wait a couple of seconds and hit the button again, or start making preps for the next shot you're going to need anyway for that Big Gulp latte you're making. It pulls a good shot out of the box, and I have not had to mess with the timing, but adjustments are available and the manual is clear about how to make them.It also has a reset function if you screw it up and need to start over. The water container for it is large enough that I have yet to have to refill it during the day.And I usually don't bother to checking before pulling the first shot of the day.Construction is solid.I mean, I haven't disassembled it or anything. But everything fits precisely - doesn't make unseemly noises, and it would look good on any countertop. No one is going to look at it and get the impression it's cheap. In fact, it's good looking enough that I down play it when ever anyone sees it for the first time.Don't want them thinking I suddenly inherited money or something.I picked this machine after spending a lot of time comparing features, reading reviews, and reflecting on priorities.I could have spent a lot more - but I don't know what else I could have expected.I could have spent a little less, but this looked like my best bet, and I think I won.I have flogged this machine hard.My wife drinks a lot of coffee - for medical reasons actually.I hear people raving about the endurance of machines they operate "at least once a week."I run this one probably 10 times a day average - granted it's only been a couple of months - but it's been utterly flawless. This is kind of a disposable appliance. At a hundred bucks, no one is sending it in for service, no repairman is going to make a house call. But I've probably pull more shots through it than most people pull in a year, without any issues at all, so I am well satisfied with the value.

Great Buy for espresso lovers!
Works great! Very loud! Small, slim design perfect for my coffee bar. Plenty of water and it wipes down with a wet rag. After reading suggestions online I am making awesome mochas. It was nothing to set up and came with all but espresso cups and frothing pitcher. I also got a metal tamper. A bit of a learning curve with beans and tamping but it wasn't long before I got it perfect. Awesome crema! Best lesson, run the machine empty first to heat it all up good. Same with steamer, run water first to prep for steam. I'm thrilled. I have had it almost 6 months now. Savings tons of money!

Makes good coffee, but longevity of product still in question
Bought one for my wife for Christmas. Worked great and we loved it and the flavor of coffee it made. However, after about 4-4 1/2 months, brewing a double shot began to not work properly. The single shots still worked. Reached out to customer service and after trying several thing, including them sending a new filter set, nothing worked. They were kind and quick to help and sent us a new machine (it was a different style than the one we originally had, but no biggie for us.) We are setting up the new one now and will see how long it last, and will update the review accordingly. Overall, a good machine for the price and great customer service.

Great value. Love this for our home use.
This is a great machine. Water capacity is perfect. Not hard to use, though for me, there is a learning curve with the milk frother. Excellent flavor for our expresso and lattes. I did buy a bean grinder separately. It was worth it! So different then using my other machine with the pods. I don't think it is too loud, though I recall some reviews mentioning that. I love this machine. We've been using it since Christmas as it was a gift for my husband. Have had no problems and I use it daily. Highly recommend. Great value for the purchase price.

Morning Routine is Forever Changed!
I have never made our own espresso at home before this little machine entered my life—and now I can’t imagine mornings without it. It’s incredibly user-friendly, even for total beginners, and surprisingly quiet (yes, quiet enough to use while my roommate is still asleep!). The milk steamer is a bit louder, but we rarely use it, so it’s not a dealbreaker. Now let’s talk about the aesthetics—the silver color is stunning. It looks so chic on my counter, nothing like the cheap, plasticky machines in the same price range. The build quality is top-notch, solid and sleek. I constantly get compliments on it, and people are always asking me where I got it. Totally worth it!

a great buy!
We absolutely love this machine. I am in fact giving this as a gift to my college bound kid. Every one loves the lattes that come out of this machine. IT is a great buy size wise very compact and the ease of cleaning it much simpler than the other grind and brew machines I have. The machine is priced perfectly and every time each cup of my latte is restaurant quality. I am saving so much money not buying my lattes outside. My friends love it and insist on having a cup every time they visit. A great product all around!

Love it!
We have these several weeks now and we absolutely love it. It brews so quickly and the process is so easy. It doesn’t rattle around and make all this crazy noise like the last one we had (different brand) so that is nice. Easy to clean and use as well. It is really great quality for the price as well. Once we are ready we will for sure be upgrading to another Casabrew machine!

Decent beginner espresso maker
Overall as a beginner espresso maker… this is great for the price. The espresso tastes great to me as long as you tamp and distribute well. Haven’t had much experience with the steamer yet but seems to be nice. The shots pull a little uneven but they don’t seem to impact the flavor. My only gripe is that the portafilter basket comes out to easily from the portafilter, so I’m unable to “knock” the puck out, I have to scoop it out every time. Which is messy, annoying and more time consuming. But not sure if that’s the norm.
