These are a great gift idea for Father’s Day as well as for yourself! My dad and I are both carpenters and lose pencils all the time or end up breaking the lead at the worst possible time. These pencils make it so much easier because you can just get more lead out with one hand. They seem to be well made and the lead writes just the same as all of my other pencils. It’s nice having the sharpener screw into the top so I always have a nice and sharp point for making crisp lines.

Awesome pencil sets. I had a competitors brand for about 2 days and it started losing parts. Cap fell off repeatedly and then of course vanished.I purchased two of these sets and within a week, both sets vanished. Gone gone gone. Looked everywhere and all I can assume is someone needed them more than me. Budget wise they were a little bit of a splurge, but after using them on wood, steel and even rocks , they work and work better than any marking tool I've ever used and I've been in the trades and have owned businesses for over 40 years. Hands down, if you are a carpenter, plumber, electrician, Mason, bricklayer, drywaller, or just like pencils LOL I couldn't recommend these more. I absolutely HAVE TO purchase more of these sets. Next tine though, Ill guard em' with my life and if anyone tries to walk away with em'......the one and only thing that would put these over 5 stars if there was a holster clip for it. Even then , that's not a complaint.

Excellent mechanical pencils!As I prepared to load lead into the mechanical pencils, I found both of the pencils were preloaded...very nice! I changed out the red color pencil's standard graphite for a red graphite. Then the next step, test the writing quality. Both were as good as some of our office's engineering mech pencils.Took both to my woodshed later and made use of them immediately. VERY nice to be able to get the marker tip as close as possible to an outline. Example: A 1.5" diameter hole in 1" thick wood used as a template to make additional pieces for drilling. Pencil tip capable in getting as close to outline of template than any method I have used before. Follow directions as to extending graphite too far and breaking tip, Like any marker, think before applying pressure.As another nice bonus in the package, an extra mechanical pencil end cap w/sharpener. Just in case the user, me, drops and loses an end cap. Very thoughtful gesture from the manufacturer!

very handy and works well for a variety of materials

Bought these for my husband because he’s constantly looking for a pencil while doing work around the house. The bright colors make them easy to spot, and the refillable led is so nice. They are durable and the led doesn’t snap easily. For great in a pocket or attach easily to a hat.

I do woodworking and home improvements. These pencils are well made and work well. Sharpener built right into the pencils makes it easy to keep a sharp point. I have dropped them many times and sat stuff on them. Seem to be pretty durable.

Bought this for the yellow color with the hope it would work for Mohawk laminate flooring. It worked ok but a erasable marker worked better. No fault of this product though. It works like a dream for wood work!

I was looking for leads for a pencil like these. I found this set and it is a great bargain. I recommend it.
