Well done Solido.
This is my first Solido diecast and I'm not disappointed. I saw this crop up on a limited time deal for £49 and after reading about it's history I had to get it. The model is a pretty accurate recreation of the unlikely 1979 lemans winner owned and driven by the Wittington brothers. The story of that race and the murky history of the brothers reads like something out of a movie and worth a watch. The weight is reassuringly heavy, more so than something like a Bburago. Only the doors open but there's enough detail on the interior and decal application on the bodywork to compensate. The execution of the interior is also rung above Bburago. I've seen a few reviews mention a missing ariel but Solido tend to put these in the box separately. It's a tiny part and almost invisible so it's easy to miss.Looking at what's on offer this won't be my last Solido and this comes ighly recommended.
