Kamui Black Laminated Leather Tip (Soft)

Every good pool player knows that without a good tip on their shaft, they can't get good action with the balls.This leather tip on my composite shaft ensures that I get good spin on the cue ball.

Up until now I have been using medium tips of different brands for near a decade. The soft tip really allows me to put more spin on the cue ball. Longer draws and follows. Didnt take too long to adapt. It does however require more tip maintenance, the sides are starting to mushroom and I can see this happening for the life of the tip.

Thank for getting a superior product to my door step so fast.As for the Kamui tip, it is a superior product. Kamui tips are expensive tips and worth every cent. If you play competitively such as leagues and/or tournaments, quality equipment is important. If you have a quality cue ($200 and up) it makes sense to have a high quality Kamui tip on the end of it. I immediately noticed the difference with the Kamui tip. The action I get from the cue ball is incredible. I can draw the cue ball the length of the table with ease now. When your equipment performs so well your confidence steps up a notch or two as well.I am known to go through tips very quickly. A part of my routine is shaping my tip before I shoot a match or practice session. I go through tips quickly. With the Kamui design, it retains its shape and holds the chalk much longer than any other tip I've used. For someone like me who can go through a tip once a month, it looks like the costs of re-tipping my stick will only slightly increase and possibly could be less than what i had been spending. I'm very happy with this investment.

Have not installed on my cue yet, but Kamui has the reputation for being the best one can use. Friends use them and the results are impressive. Will submit another review after installing on my cue.

This tip is fantastic. It shapes well and holds chalk great. Would say it's closer to medium compared to other tips I have played. Have not had issues with glazing that some others mention. Most important, it plays wonderfully. Very expensive but worth it.
