Poor instructions, but works great
Installed as a remote for boat trim motor. Instructions are ok but could be better. Once installed works very well (1 week so far).

Didn't work.
The transceiver wouldn't work right out of the box. The solenoid works great and actually looks pretty well built but the remotes look like a cheap toy you get at the dollar store. Buy a better one.

Wiring Diagram
In the end, it works as intended. For starters , the remote control connections are to big, and will need to be changed out for smaller connections so you can connect to the solenoid. The instructions are a challenge. The diagram listed by the seller above is correct, but its missing a very important step. It does show what needs to be done, with no explanation. I've downloaded 2 pics that shows where you will need to add a ground wire from the battery ground, to the remote ground. It works on any application using 12v. I've modified this to operate with a tailgate salter.

Works great
My buddies old car hauler winch gave out and he bought replacement solenoids that were confusing and sketchy. I put this on his trailer in about 5 minutes and now he can control his winch while stearing the vehicle he's pulling up

Don’t use the instructions it comes with!
Use the instructions on Amazon site the one’s in the box won’t help you. You’ll need to put new ends on the radio receiver. The ones it comes with won’t fit the screws on the relay. You’ll also need some wire to hook up the grounds on the relay. Which is also vague in the instructions. A fifteen minute job turned into a two hour electrical puzzle.
