It was hard to determine from the dimensions listed for this bag, but it's too short to hold an iPad Air Gen 5 (and likely other similarly sized iPads - see image). Disappointing, as it's a really nice bag! If you have a smaller iPad or other purpose for this bag, it's really nice -- built well, sturdy and nice on the eyes. Good price point, too!

I like the shape and size of this bag and the fact that it is of genuine leather. The zippers all run smoothly and it has a fabric lining. The strap is adjustable to carry either crossbody or on your shoulder. The only slight disappointment for me was that, in the picture, the black leather looked smooth and shiny while the one I received had a pebble grain. Also, it's not quite as large as expected even though I did read the dimensions. It would never hold an umbrella as the description states. The card slots in the front compartment are too narrow to fit credit cards into, too. Otherwise this is a great little travel bag for essentials.

I have carried a "purse" for more than 30 years. Early on, it was hard to find a bag suitable for a man. I ran through a lot because most of them were poorly made. My last bag had a feature where the back had a three side zipper that when opened, laid the whole back flat, revealing space for credit cards, business cards, drivers license, insurance etc on the one side. On the other side was space for larger items like passport, notebook, and other pockets. The rest of the baq had pockets for a tablet, phone, and other useful items I wanted with me. I usually carried short USB cables, adapters, a USB hub, USB ethernet adapter and like the Queen, a marmalade sandwich. I couldn't imagine life without a good bag.With the three sided zipper, finally giving out, I spent a lot of time looking through what was available online. Although the Bagio bag I chose did not have a three sided zipper, it was the right size and did have lots of zippered spaces. After having my bag for a few months, I can honestly say, I am pleased with my purchase. The bag looks and feels sturdy.

Was very suitable

I have owned and used similar Biagio bags. I bought this one to replace a larger one that was bigger than I need now. This one is also beautifully made, nicely colored, soft genuine leather and can hold my iPad mini, iPhone, keys, wallet, etc. easily and conveniently. BUT, as several others have mentioned, the shoulder strap is not removable. Fortunately, my wife is very clever…she neatly clipped the stitching and was able to permanently remove the strap, the leather attachment pad, and the metal D-ring. Now it is perfect for me.

Got my husband the bag. He likes it but says it’s not roomy enough to put stuff in. He had another one and traveled everywhere with the bag. Not what he expected.
