Genuine Toyota Accessories PT248-35060 Cargo Cover for Select FJ Cruiser Models

Works great and works with subwoofer. No smell like others experienced, install with subwoofer takes a little thinking and patience, but still pretty easy, just follow the instructions. Took about 15 minutes to install the straps behind subwoofer. Once the straps are installed, putting it in or taking it out is quick and easy, takes about 5 minutes. Install without subwoofer would've taken 5 minutes.

Ok..., let's face it, this product is not Toyota's best effort. They could have made this retractable or at the very least snap on to the rear seat head-rest post and deploy to the rear of the FJ. However, it does fit and it's better than nothing (in my opinion). If you have a SW - not a big deal really. There are plenty of video's on YouTube that will show you how to remove and replace your SW. It looks really good and does a good job of concealing your stuff (and your SW) from would be thieves. If you pull it really taught it can be difficult to put back on with-out loosening the fasteners. On the other hand you can place light weight items on top of it as the canvas material is pretty strong. Weather you need it or not depends on how you use your FJ. If you surf, bike, or hike, and leave your FJ with good stuff in side, this will be worth the purchase (and should be purchased). My cover is on and I do not think I will take it down often unless I am rolling with my two German Shepards :)

A must have for an FJ. Better quality than the picture shows, soon as I got it, installed it in a few seconds. Smell isn’t bad don’t worry about it.

This is in fact the cover that you can get from the dealer. Difficult to install. The problem is removing the boom box. I took it to the dealer who screwed it up. There are two straps to install behind the boom box; each strap is identical and has two holes. Follow the directions about the holes. The dealer didn't.BTW. It stinks. There is a very strong oder. After a month I am still parking the car overnight in my garage with the windows open to air it out. It makes my eyes puffy.

Don't like it and returned it I thought it was going to be a kind of pull out cover so people can't see in the back but it's just a canvas cover you have to clip on and off... No need for it as the windows are that dark anyway

How did I wait so long to have this?! It's a no brainer. Easy to adjust and install. Protects gear from sketchy people peering in. Must have for any outdoorsman or fj owner.

Another reviewer put it best with "better than nothing". I had to figure out how to install it by digging through old manuals on the internet. If your fj cruiser has a factory sub woofer, you need to remove it and then as you reinstall the sub woofer, you have to thread the mounting bolt through the provided straps to create an anchor point. I had to make a new hole in the strap because it wasnt long enough with the holes that it came with. It works well and it covers things and helps keeping temptation low for thieves.
