NO MORE SINUS INFECTIONS since using Alkalol. I've tried a lot of things - this WORKS.
IMHO, this is the real deal. For years, I had 2-3 sinus infections per year, and they were treatable only with antibiotics. I had never been able to prevent or cure a sinus infection. Until Alkalol. I've been using it for about 3 years now, and I haven't had a sinus infection since. Twice, I've licked an upcoming infection by using Alkalol. For me, the trick is getting drainage. When I get a cold or allergy, I get plugged up almost immediately (despite medication), and then the infection starts. Alkalol restores my drainage.I don't use it quite as directed. Pardon the gory details, but I hope they're helpful. I make a saltwater solution to which I add a generous amoutn of Alkalol. Then I put my head down and squirt it in my nose with a baby nasal aspirator, one side at a time. Keeping head down, I hold it in my nose to the count of 20 or so. My aim is to soak and dissolve the gunk that is blocking my sinuses. After counting to 20, I snort the stuff out. Repeat until all is clear.I wish I could rate this 10 stars. I've tried a LOT of things, and this truly works.

Necessary for my allergy issues
I had used just saline in my neti pot prior to finding this solution. This is a huge improvement over saline. Almost makes my allergies tolerable, well, not really but you get my drift. My son-in-law is an ENT-he says his patients swear by it, hmmmm, he never mentioned to me??!!

Take your Neti pot to the next level and feel cleansed and fresh!
My nephew turned me on to this stuff. I've been a avid Neti pot user for several years. I especially rely on my Neti after yard work or working in my wood shop and getting sawdust in my nose. I just recovered from a nasty sinus infection and was using Neti three to four times per day in an effort to purge my sinuses of the thick mucus. Sorry, it's graphic, but you know what I'm talking about.I ordered the Alkalol and added it at mild strength to my saline. The feeling was instant and soothing. At first it felt like I had rinsed my head with mouthwash, as the menthol and other aromatics took over. It didn't burn, and it didn't irritate. It seems that I was able to purge a bit better, and get more stuff out than before, but how does one measure that?On my second use, I doubled the amount of Alkalol and got even better results. I think I'll stay with that concentration for a while. Some people say they go full strength, but wow, that might be too much for me.The aroma lasts for about 20 to 30 minutes, but I noticed my sinuses stayed unblocked much longer than with plain saline.Anyway, if you are using a Neti pot and want to kick things to the next level of relief, then Alkalol might be a solution for you too.============October update: We're in full-blown ragweed season here in South Texas, so my neti pot and Alkalol are getting a heavy workout. I use it every night before bed and get a full night's rest without clogged sinuses. I'm still giving this product a full 5 stars, and I'm about to place an order for more.

Lifesaver for allergy and sinus sufferers
I suffer from postnasal drip, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. My nose is constantly runny, stuffy, or both. I am constantly having to blow my nose which eventually causes me to have swollen adenoids and dry nasal cavity. Saline rinses helped tremendously but it didn't really do much for that dry feeling deep in the nasal cavity. I bought a bottle of this and added it to my saline rinse. I couldn't believe how moisturized my nasal passages felt and how easy it was to breathe through my nose after just one rinse. I also used it as a mouthwash to help eliminate some of those smelly volatile sulfur compounds that can come from the constant drainage in the back of the throat.

worked better than I would have thought.
The combination of this and daily use of Flonase has changed my life after years of nasal breathing issues. I use it nightly, either with the supplied applicator or mixed in a saline solution in a nasal irrigater. Now I have the peace of mind, after almost 15 years of breathing through my nose issues, of knowing if I am ever kidnapped and duct tape put over my mouth, I won't die stuffed in a trunk, which is nice to know and have one less thing to worry about. It is disturbing realizing what your sinuses create on a daily basis, but I tell myself I would rather look at all that cr*p in a tissue than know its inside my head. Now that I know what's up there, ignorance is no longer an excuse! Sure it can sting a little, but it's the type of mild pain that makes you feel tough and makes you think it must be doing something really extraordinary as it swirls around your sinuses.

Hours of soothing relief for dry sinuses. Best neti pot solution!
I've used this for thirty years! It's great for dry sinuses due to allergies or a cold, or any time you want to use a neti pot. This is superior to plain old saline. The various plant oils in this are soothing and leave my sinuses feeling moisturized for hours. Just mix with luke-warm water to the desired strength and use it like you'd use any neti pot solution. They recently came out with a spray bottle version, which I like better than the regular saline sprays you can get. It's awesome to have both on hand.

Smells good
This product isn't as strong as it's noted. I was trying to be very careful and use minimal amount, but realized that it really wasn't that bad. I use the Neti nasal irrigation (squeeze bottle) with their salt packets and this. Initially I used about 3 cap full. I tried the same for my son, then 5 for my son, who only like the smell. "Smells good." I placed the full in a small glass spray bottle and shot it directly up my nostril. Pretty refreshing, but nothing that I would say is cringing, stinging, or painful. In fact, it's far far less than using Hydrogen Peroxide (diluted). I wouldn't use these two products together possibly due to what Alkalol contains, but both should aid. This coming from a someone who had really bad sinus infections, pulips, and ultimately sinus surgery just to breath. I still have some issues, but some help is better than no help.
