When your roof absolutely and positively needs to be water tight (when doesn’t it, right?), use Through the ROOF! roof repair and roof sealant. Through the ROOF! is a seriously unique roofing caulk that can be applied in the rain! (No, we’re not kidding!) It sticks to wet surfaces, which means you can fix the leak while it’s leaking. Through the ROOF! sticks to almost any roofing surface – metal, plastic, asphalt, wood, concrete and more. Plus, it won’t freeze. So, go ahead and fix that gutter during the middle of a Minnesota winter. You might get some concerned stares from your neighbors, but they’ll be grateful the next time you host a neighborhood party and their head stays dry. Through the ROOF! is elastic, meaning it flexes with temperature changes and wind. It’s ultra clear and stays clear, giving you a sealant that doesn’t yellow over time. Through the ROOF! lasts 20 times longer than asphalt, offers excellent UV resistant, is paintable and made with a low-VOC formula and provides water and mildew resistance.

Like a Roofing Crew in a Can
Had a persistent leak between two dormers on the top floor, with water revealing itself in an attic crawlspace on down to the living room ceiling. Tried asphalt caulking, but never could quite figure out where the water was getting inside. Felt like a game of Whack-a-Mole. Finally called up a roofer to take a look, but he was stumped. Said it'd cost at least $500 to start ripping up shingles.Instead of going down that route, I ordered this Through the Roof product and crossed my fingers. Lucked out for testing when it rained a few hours after application. Not a drop inside. Well worth the money.People ordering this product should know it will leave a sheen on the shingles that reflects sunlight quite a bit. It's a small price to pay considering all the damage a leak can cause to your house (and your wallet).Would absolutely recommend this product to anyone at the end of their leaky rope like me.

good product super fast shipping
arrived a day sooner than promised packaged very well. putting the product on is time comsuming about two hours per gallon because its so thick and lets face it you can only spread something thats the consistency of refigerated honey so fast which does give you plenty of time to contemplate what you did wrong in life that brought you to the point of spreading sealer on your roof i quickly learned not to try and use it sparingly. you can but you might as well call your boss and tell him you have a new job because you'll be on your roof forever. you may even make the local news and your neighbors are going to start wondering why you have been up there for days. i used cheap paint brushes and tossed them once done the stuff doesn't look easy to clean off the good news is one brush will last you one can. if your roof still leaks after using this stuff you missed the leak. i can't see anything getting past it.

Amazing product.
I used this product on my RV just this week. I did a first patch coat 4 days ago, and then a second coat last night. It rained this morning, and the product has worked flawlessly. Some of the cracks on the roof line were around 3/8ths of an inch wide. Yet Sashco flowed into and filled even that wide of a gap. I used the product on every crack and seam of the roof, and over all the previous patch material placed before. The worst spot was where my air conditioner sat on its pan. I did that yesterday. There was as much as 3/4ths of an inch gap below the pan. I stuffed that with Oakum, and then heavily slopped Sashco onto the roof/pan border, and pushed the mix into the Oakum and against the 1 inch lip of the pan. I put it on so thick that it likely will not set up for over a week. Around 12 hours later it started raining. The entire patch job has held, and amazingly the heavy use around the air conditioner pan has held, even when the pooling water reached over half way up the one inch lip of the pan. I had to throw several sheets on the roof to form a siphon to drain the pool around the air conditioner. Next year I will have to fix the sag on the roof. This product does everything it claims to do.

I wish I could give the same positive feedback, but it only held for about a week. I thoroughly applied it as directed and we are back to leaking. Anyone want to buy a full unused can?

Just used this yesterday - it is freakin' awesome. Have a flat roof over a portion of our house which has been leaking for some time, but became critical after a winter storm a few days ago, when an ice dam formed. Water was literally pouring into the house. Followed the application instructions provided by another reviewer. Rained today, and not a drop in the house. Highly recommend this product.UPDATE: Poured buckets today, and not a single drop inside my house. Even more impressed since we applied the product under far less than ideal conditions. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

good stuff
Works very well, hard to apply, but worth the effort. Bought two gallons, applied to roof, and no more leaking. Worked on patch that was giving me a headache for months. Recommend. Smells to high heaven, though.

Great stuff
took a long time to get it, and when I did, one of the cans was badly dented and a little of the material had squeezed out of the seal and had gelled, so I was concerned about the material, but it turned out great and spread very nicely with a roller on my chimney.
