KZ has gotten it right with the new AS06. It hits the mark of quality of build, appearance and sound while being a great value, this quality and value are a hallmark of KZ and they have hit the mark with these new IEMs. When opening the box which is a bit upscale from the basic KZ offerings we find the usual KZ small and large ear tips in a package and the mediums already mounted.We also find the upgraded in quality KZ cable which is designed to wrap around the ear and does not use a memory wire that they have used in the past. This is clearly a step up from the older KZ cable and I hope they continue using this style of cable from now on. This new style of cable is also used on the new KZ ZSN and it is a very comfortable and practical cable. The box also includes a metal quality control plaque clearly a step up from the basic KZ packaging. All these things are nice but ultimately sound is what matters, and these IEMs sound wonderful. They use three balanced armatures for each side to cover the music spectrum. All balanced armatures create even, excellent detail top to bottom, no frequencies are lacking and everything is clear and precise. They have excellent bass, Full warm and solid with powerful impact, clear rich mid range, with beautiful vocals and presence, and detailed precise high frequencies. They have excellent balance with a rich warm precise V signature. I have played many types of music and I find them to scale well and satisfy all types of music enjoyment. They are very efficient and match well with both portable and desktop sources. They work well with equalization, and have excellent fit comfort and isolation. They present an excellent value and punch well above their price class! Good job KZ keep up the good work releasing these enjoyable IEMs.

The sound quality for the cost is absolutely amazing for the AS06. There are a ton of reviews on youtube about the audio quality for this specific model, and they do a much better job at telling how good they are. I can't speak to other KZ models, i've heard some are not great and some are decent.If you've never had a good set of earbuds, you will suddenly be annoyed with most streaming services because you'll finally get to hear how terrible the quality is. These do a great job at blocking out noise when using foam tips and really let the constant "hissssss" from low quality audio shine.I also used Decibullz moldable earplugs around these to help further block noise, and it helps a little with comfort and making sure they are perfectly positioned every time. It took a lot of trial and error but it was worth it in the end; not a necessity though.It's a great option for plane travel since they are small, compact, comfortable, and block so much outside noise when used properly. I was debating between these and $300 Sony NC headphones and ultimately picked these, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I've found noise isolation works much better than noise cancellation.

TL;DR:I like these. I think they sound more in line with neutral audiophile sound in comparison to basshead DD iems and are worth trying out.With that out of the way, I really like these. I am actually shocked with how much I do enjoy them. I should mention, I do not own a lot of iems and all the iems I do own are dynamic drivers.I chose the KZ AS06 because I wanted to try out something that is all BA rather than a cheap hybrid. However, the AS06 on the other hand seems to be smoother in the treble region. They are still bright though (and can be occasionally sibilant) . As for the mids, they are kind of in the background to me.But what I care about is the bass. The bass on these things are unbelievably clean to me. I do want to mention again that I have only experienced DD bass before this but I love how the bass on the AS06 sounds. If you have the KZ ZS7, and want something that has a cleaner sound, I think these are for you.Overall, I am a huge fan of these and glad I gave them a shot. At 50 dollars, I think these are great for anyone who wants a brighter sounding iem, or just want to try out all BA without selling an arm or a leg for something higher up.

I owned AS10 and ZS10. AS06 triple balanced armature driver do surprise me on how much it can achieved. Its very loud and easy to drive from mobile phone.Mid bass is super punchy and sub bass is deep and fast roll off.The high are highly detail with good seperation on instruments but not too bright till have sibilance or harshness. It's a energetic and fun sounding signature. Mid is slightly warm and balance. Most genre music will be perfect match. If you looking for even warmer signature. Applying headphone amp with warm signatures will juicing up mid and vocal.Soundstage is bigger than average. Well done on tonality and clarity as well. In short bang for bucks iem for this price point.

I purchased these headphones for IEM, I am a bass player at our worship team. I used them for the first time on stage live and they blew me away with the bass capability it handled. Also listening to music is great as well. I hear things I haven't heard before, cause before I have used regular apple headphones which are basic. The preformed ear hooks on this cable are one of the reasons I bought these headphones. And such a great price as well. I have read so many reviews on the KZ brand, being a budget company. And they were exactly what I was looking for.

**This is the same exact review I gave for the KZ AS10, That is because there is no difference except for the technical spec and that the Sub-bass on these is better than KZ AS10 but the Treble is more piercing on these**Bass and sub bass are good...BUT dominated by extremely high treble. Did I say Extreme!At low volume they sound good... but you don't get the full performance of the bass... And when you increase the volume the bass gets better but treble gets extremely piercing.I feel that they are too big for an average person's ears.The comfort of the silicon tips is average, at best.

Ich bin mega zufrieden mit diesen In-Ears. Ich benutze sie fast den gesamten Tag und hatte bis jetzt keine Probleme mit denen. (Ungefähr dreiviertel Jahr in Nutzung) Zudem bin ich Sängerin und benutze sie auch auf der Bühne, wo ein satter und klarer Klang echt wichtig ist. Was auch nicht bei vielen In-Ears gegeben ist, ist der Bass den man hier echt gut hören kann.Wichtig: Kopfhörer müssen sich grundsätzlich erst ein wenig "einspielen". Nach ein paar Stunden haben diese hier sich komplett entfalten. Funktionen auch ohne Probleme mit großem Klinkenstecker.Ich hatte vorher welche für mehrere hundert Euro von einer bekannten Marke. Und die waren fast genauso gut.Wenn die den Geist aufgeben hol ich die nochmal.Wenns noch Fragen gibt, können die gern gestellt werden.

Sublimés, les morceaux que l’on croyait pourtant connaître se révèlent sous un nouveau jour. Le niveau de détails se montre bluffant.Ces écouteurs offrent également l'avantage de se fixer parfaitement derrière l'oreille à l'aide du câble tressé à mémoire de forme. Câble que l'on peut d’ailleurs remplacer en cas de souci sans avoir besoin de jeter la paire d'écouteurs elle-même. Un système bien pratique et économique évitant le gaspillage de nos précieux biens de consommation.
