I purchased the 3.99 one, definitely worth the money, actually got it at a steal price!I used these with my first daughter which worked out fine. I don't know why people complain about the battery life. Makes no sense. It is a digital test, take a picture it will last longer. you are testing to see if you are pregnant and this box comes in 3's (you have 3 chances to show whomever then just take pictures to share the great news!!!). If you are waiting to show your significant other the test, the best thing you can do is take a cheap test first to see if you are pregnant (those are SUPER CHEAP here on amazon and you can buy bulk if you are trying to conceive.) then follow up with a digital to show you significant other.I believe it does the job right and it does exactly what it says it does! This is our last baby we are trying to have and I am very excited! Good Luck to everyone who is trying and if you are looking for a good test to get some answers this is just as good as clear blue digital and first response gold!Great buy!

The only good thing about them is there fast shipping. I got the box in the mall and opened it and to my surprise it expired .. IN 2012 .. one positive and two neg .. went to the doc and he said not this time .. once they expire this is no telling what they will tell you he said ... Do not BUY FROM THEM ....

I used two three-packs of the EPT test while trying to conceive. When I got "not pregnant" results, the hour glass would flash for about three minutes before displaying "not pregnant." I finally decided to save my money and sanity and wait for a late period before testing. The hour glass flashed only a few times before "pregnant" popped up, I'm assuming because if it finds the HCG hormone it doesn't need more time.To the women who got "false positive" results--I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but it is much more likely that you had a fertilized egg which failed at some point in the implantation process than that the test just decided to find HCG where there was none.According to my Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy, scientists estimate that 3/4 of all lost pregnancies are as a result of failure to implant, which occurs even before a period is due or a woman knows she is pregnant. It is more likely that when you took the test you still had faint levels of HCG in your system which were not detectable by less sensitive tests or still present in your system when you went to the doctor.My only complaint about this product is that the results disappeared after 24 hours, and I wanted to keep looking at my "pregnant." :)

It had been 8 weeks since my last period, I thought it might have been due to stress because my fiance and I only had sex a few times, not around ovulation times. Took the test, got two NOT PREGNANT results. Two weeks later, still no period, went to a walk-in clinic for a blood test, and what do you know? I'm pregnant.

I used one 3 days before my period was due and it came out negative but retested on the day it was due first thing in the morning and it came out positive. I would recommend not trying before your period is due. My first pregnancy I also used EPT but not digital and it came out positive. I think it is a great product.

It was about time for my period. I wasn't late but not early either. I was about to enjoy some drinks with friends when I decided I better check just in case. It was about 7pm at night (not first thing in morning) and resulted PREGNANT before I was finished peeing. Test worked great for me. Like others posting reviews, I bought another brand as well and took 4 tests total. All with results of pregnant. Needless to say, I was happy I checked before enjoying drinks with friends so I could opt for the non-alcohol kind.

Waiting on a callback from the manufacturer after a blank result.I've used ept's simple +/- tests for years with no problems. Very disappointed with this new product right now because it is expensive. Won't be buying again.
