Bought this for my husband as an extra christmas gift. He LOVES it. Uses it all the time. I specifically bought this because it stated it was made from a genuine canvas material and not just some plastic version of canvas. I can say that the description was accurate because it doesn't have that horrible smell you normally get from those materials which was my top concern as this sits in the house at times. Next factor that influenced my decision was how sturdy I thought it would be and how well it would hold up. The beautiful thing about this tote is that the handles are stitched completely around the entire bag, they don't just start at the opening. The bag is extremely sturdy and with about 2 months of use so far it hasn't shown a bit of wear and I know it will hold up for years and years, it's that good. No rips, no tears, no holes, no stitching coming undone. I also was looking for something large enough to fit a good amount of wood within reason of what he'd be able to carry and it definitely holds a lot. I'm a petite 4'11" 95 lb woman and I can carry about 5 logs in this myself from the garage. He can fit and carry about 10-12 depending on size. Last thing I will say is that the bag also covers about 5-6 inches or so of the logs on the short ends of it (as you can see in the picture) which is a huge deal to me because no mess as we carry them in the house!!! Makes me very happy. This purchase was so worth it and has made our task of transporting the wood much easier. Especially at the price, this is beyond the value I expected. Buy it if you're in need of one, you won't be disappointed.

This is a well-made carrier. I would love to use it, however, I am returning it because of the color. The product description calls it "dark green" and both computer monitors I used to look at it, showed a bright/grass green. That would have been OK, however, the carrier I got would be better described as teal. (And I know teal, it's one of my favorite colors.) The color in no way changes the function of a good wood carrier and this one looks great. But our woodstove is smack dab in the central part of our house and a carrier sits out from October to April, right in front of the stove. Teal green just doesn't match anything else in our house. I feel badly returning it, but I will, and appreciate that Amazon and the seller let me do it. And I took off a star in my recommendation because I don't think there is anyone who could look at the carrier I got and call it "dark green".

I bought two different totes from two different brands and this one isn't as good as the other one. It's very strong/durable, but it's awfully small. You can only take 4-5 large pieces of wood at a time whereas the other one carries much more. I guess it would be fine for someone who can't carry something heavy, but I am tough so I would like it to be a little bigger because I am also lazy and would like to take as few trips as possible. :)Overall... it's made well, it's just too small.

I live in the mountains and rely on my wood stove during the winter. Based on the reviews I purchased this tote but ended up giving it away. Aside from the fact that it arrived in an ugly teal color and not the woodland green pictured online the design actually makes it less stable when loading and carrying odd lengths or shapes.Unless you are carrying identical cuts of very specific lengths the tote actually does worse than the cheaper alternatives. I ended up getting a different boxed tote from another seller which works much better.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. We heat our home with wood so the carrier is used continuously and is left near our wood stove in the living room. The color is a lovely green, but the sides do not stay up so they tend to fall down and so does the wood - onto the floor! The one he has used before has firm sides which works much better - I think we bought it from LL Bean. We returned this and will find one that fits our needs better.

I read all the reviews. I debated about buying a less expensive one. I'm so glad I bought this one! It's large, sturdy, and the shape is perfect. I over filled it so instead of lifting it, I dragged it across the walkway into the house. I'm sure this would eventually wear it down but after doing that twice it shows no sign of damage. Highly recommend this log carrier. It also arrived as expected.

Wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but that is my fault. The dimensions were a little larger than I expected. I use it every day none the less since the quality is great.

Strong and durable. Because the sides are low, it allows for longer pieces of wood to fit. My husband's only complaint is that the handles are too long and the tote tends to drag on the ground. (He is 6ft tall). I did not receive a discount for this review - I wish I did!
