The jewelry is nice enough to look at; however, it's externally threaded, which was not disclosed in the description. This means there are coarse threads on the end of each barbell which would have to pass through my piercing each time I inserted and removed an earring. This is not only extremely uncomfortable, but can also tear and damage tissue, resulting in irritation even for healed piercings. It's exactly like trying to shove a screw through your ear!! External threads also trap bacteria, increasing the risk of infections. There are no American companies making this style of jewelry anymore; these earrings came with a large sticker on the packaging which read "MADE IN CHINA."

I bought these for my daughter because her other earrings cut the back of her earlobe after a certain amount of time. I had hoped these would be pretty, but I was more focused on a healthier and safer option for her ears. When these arrived, honestly, I was shocked. They are GORGEOUS. Wonderfully sparkly, completely smooth (no rough edges to cut her ears), easy to put on, screw on back, perfect size, amazing to maintain. Not gonna lie, I’m considering buying myself a pair! I can’t recommend these enough. And my daughter loved them. Money well spent.

These earring are spectacular for my little ladies. I was constantly replacing my 2 year olds earrings because she kept pulling at them and losing the backs. The actual locking ear piercing earrings were only lasting us a few months at a time. The only downfall with these are the backs are small and it definitely took some time and patience to get the backs screwed on but I keep checking them and they haven’t come loose at all! Neither of the girls have had any reaction to the metal, but I also do not know if they are prone to sensitive ears or not. I love how the earring are smooth, as in the crystals so they don’t get stuck in their hair. I will buy these again if offered in more colors and I’d like some for myself, I highly recommend!

I got these for my three year old daughter. Her ears are sensitive and we have been having an issue finding ones that will work for her. The screwback is great for toddlers so they don't get lost. we have been through dozens of pairs of other types of earrings so far. the only problem is that both back and front screw off so that makes it difficult to get a good grip on them.

They are super sparkly and fit her great. My picture doesn’t do the sparkly-ness justice, but you can see how well they fit her.

My daughter has very sensitive ears. She has to use gold or surgical grade steel or else her ears swell up and hurt right away. These earrings are great! No problems with her sensitive ears. They look really sparkly and pretty. The are comfortable to sleep in. She swims often and they earrings still stay on. The sparkles are still on the earrings, so I know they are well made. She has worn them for many months now with no issues.
