Once I realized that the IOS app is much more user-friendly than the Android app it was very easy to set up the camera. Unfortunately, I wasted quite a lot of time trying to set up two cams on my Android phone, until I got wise and pulled out my iPad. Once my two cams were set up via iPad, I was able to add them to the app on my Android phone. Remains to be seen how stable the connection is (I set them both up to connect via my home WiFi for remote viewing). They look very inconspicuous. I need them to check on my dogs while I am away, and my dog sitter sometimes unplugs the camera I have sitting in the kitchen claiming she needed to charge her phone on that particular plug (yeah, right - she was told what the camera was for). Makes me a bit suspicious and that's why I decided to get the hidden cameras.

This Bluetooth speaker hidden spy cam is worth every penny it costs and then some. We put this in our kitchen, after hiring a babysitter that wasn't a family member as we'd not had luck getting family members to show up on time or at all when we needed them to for functions and events of ours. I was trusting of the babysitter we hired, but people nowadays can be unknown. They'll act one way when you're around and another when you're not. I just had to make sure my kids weren't being mistreated and were being taken care of well when I wasn't around.This works exactly like it says it should. I've had no issues using with the app on my phone, both when recording and when it has detected motion. I love that I can see wherever I am, or at least I've been able to see where I am. I don't have to worry about changing the memory card as it has a loop record function that just records over the old stuff when it's full. I'm extremely impressed and satisfied with this and feel better about leaving my kids at home. I'm able to check in and not even let them know I'm doing it! I've not tested this out on battery, I'm a bit hesitant to, although it would probably work for a bit, I still feel most comfortable knowing it's plugged in and I'll have no problems seeing and recording video if needed. This is the perfect spy camera.

I’ve had this unit for over a year now and it still works just as good as new in many aspects . The music player is decent it plays the music well will still functioning as a camera , The camera is noticeable if someone looks close at it, however I think that’s just because I own it nobody else has looked at it has noticed. the rotating part does make a pretty slight audible noise. Using the app the rotating part is a little bit hard to control b/c The controls are inverted . The sensitivity of the Wi-Fi seems to have decreased as time has gone by.

After having this nanny speaker cam for 2 months I no longer can view anything by phone. I have to take the SD card out and watch recordings by computer. This is not the purpose Of having this Carmen. I was told to plug it in to the router?? I asked how would I do so when the cam does not plug in to anything but the wall and works off WIFI. I never got an answer. The company WNAT does not return emails. I wish I never bought this cam. It’s only good for the speaker. If I could give 0 stars I would! I Never received a refund after speaking to Li Jianfei Vs. email! Very disappointed don’t waste your money

I can count on one hand the number of product reviews I’ve done. Something has to make a tremendous impression on me, either good or bad, for me to post a review. I feel like I should warn people against this product. It worked well for a few months and all of a sudden it stopped connecting remotely. It only works when I’m at home (i.e. when I don’t need it) because it only connects to the home WiFi. The developer of the app completely ruined this product with their last update. Now I basically use it as Bluetooth speaker. How ironic. Buyer beware.*Edit: As of 15 September 2019, the camera will not connect remotely. I tested it by using a VPN while at home. It would not connect to the camera when the VPN was enabled, but worked as soon as I disconnected from the VPN. There are much better hidden cameras on the market. It’s best to avoid this one if you want a dependable camera.*Edit*. As of 25 August 2019, it appears as though they’ve fixed the problem with remote connectivity, so I’m adjusting my rating accordingly. When it works (I’m adding emphasis to the word “when”) it’s a decent camera.

We purchased the product in June 2019. Worked great for a few months or so, then just quit working. We tried everything, reset, re-connect, and nothing worked. Then we tried to re download the app and we found out, along with our new phone purchase, that the app required to use the camera is no longer available in American market for download. This makes the product completely useless. We contacted the company and were ignored completely concerning the app being gone from the app store (Iphone). BE WARY there is no support for this device and now is completely obsolete. Amazon was able to issue us 90% refund after 45 min on hold so good for them. But I would suggest not buying this item if its still available, due to the app issue we encountered.

This might me a 1080p camera but the image is not that great. Most likely optics. The cloud part of the unit worked great for a while but it's almost like they kick you off of it after a time. I can no longer access the cameras via the internet. Only via the local network. I've tried and tried to get help but they seem to be ignoring me. I had to have the first one replaced and they were pretty responsive on that. But now they refuse to even respond. So, I don't recommend this if they are not going to keep allowing access via the internet.

This speaker worked great for several months but then the apps would suddenly stop working and vanish altogether from the iPhone App store. I was able to find a workaround using a different app, but now all those apps have also vanished. Now I am unable to download or record any videos as I have no way to connect to the camera. Total waste of money.
