Not sure what kind of hose this is designed for, but I certainly wouldn't expect a normal (1/2 or 5/8" x 25' +) garden hose. It's made of more what I consider 'wire' gauge and is only 8" deep, so if you've got a small, lite hose it might work, otherwise I wouldn't...
