Not the easiest product to use, especially if the head of the mallet is not attached to the handle and flies off the first time you use it. Obviously, coconuts are difficult to get into, so hammering the tool into the coconut is expected to not be easy, but the mallet head should not fly off and bounce around your kitchen. Not happy about that! If it was supposed to be glued on or nailed or screwed on, I don't know, but there is no glue residue on the end of the handle so maybe this one was missed? Now I'm afraid to use it, and I don't know if glue will hold it or not, so I use my own hammer.

Open coconuts safely and clean most of the time. Takes a bit of use to get the sweet spot to open on the first try. At rare circumstance, it can split the coconut or wont leverage out the hole. Then I have to use a screw driver to leverage out the top. This is definately the best and safe option to open the nut versus using a clever.

Have to hold w a towel because the handle was poorly sanded and it splintered my hand. Other than that it does it's job well

The tool works as advertised. Before, I used a butcher knife to crack these open. It's only a matter of time that I chop off a finger. With this tool, I can safely crack open a coconut in less than 15 seconds. It's so easy, my pregnant wife can do it without any hassle. One negative (which is my fault) is I thought it came with the cutting board shown in the pic...should've looked at the details closer.

Hit the metal 5 to 8 times and voila!! Was super easy to use. So glad I got this❣

Brilliant, love it, however I have a feeling the head it’s going to fell off the stick

It doesn't cut through the coconut at all, no matter how hard you bang on it. The first coconut i tried to open i had to bang so hard that it broke in half. It should cut through the skin easily if it was sharpened properly. I would have to sharpen it myself to make it work the way it should, very frustrating. and the rubber mallet smell so bad

Works great! Very easy to use and now I can enjoy my coconuts with no problem 😊
