‘Very disappointed, the range isn’t right it Wong lock on anything further than 150 yards. Also the slope function just isn’t accurate, I tested it using a friends and it was way off. On reflection I wish I had read the US reviews of this product which all seem to be written by Chinese factory workers!

I bought this range finder a while back. I compared it with Bushnell and CaddyTek range finders. As Bushnell and CaddyTek were showing same number, AOFAR G2 range finder was always 5 yards shorts. I have immediately return the range finder and purchased bit more expensive. I guess you get what you paid for. Wouldn't recommend this range finder at all. Do results, read feedbacks, consider to pay little extra money for better device.

The unit itself works great, it's accurate and easy to use and at a very good price point.But unless you have stock in Everready I would not recommend this unit.The batteries last maybe 3 rounds as long as you don't use it too often, but if you're using every hole it'll last one or maybe two rounds. When the battery voltage drops from 3.12V when new to 2.9V the unit will quit functioning.The case the comes with it is sturdy a good looking, but is much too small, the laser fits very snuggly and is awkward to get in and out, I just ended up not using it at all.I should have bought my second choice which didn't have the slope feature, but it did have a built in rechargeable battery, for roughly the same price.

Es una magnífica compra. Funciona muy bien y su precio es inferior a otros que tienen semejantes funciones. Presta un servicio similar al Bushnell que triplica su precio. Incluso la funda es prácticamente igual a la de esta marca, la más completa y mejor diseñada de los que conozco. Proporciona la distancia en línea recta y también la distancia corregida por la pendiente, así como el ángulo de la pendiente. La forma de funcionar es ligeramente diferente al Bushnell y las instrucciones en inglés no están bien redactadas lo que se agrava por culpa de una pésima traducción al español. Yo he estado a punto de devolverlo por supuestos errores de medición en el campo. Los fabricantes me mandaron lo que supuestamente eran ampliaciones o modificaciones de las instrucciones, que ya iban a incluirlas en los nuevos pedidos. Siguen siendo malas pero me han ayudado a captar los detalles que lo diferencian de la forma de medir del Bushnell, marca mítica que yo he venido usando durante varios años hasta que perdí mi telemetro en el campo.Por si sirve de ayuda a otros voy a explicar brevemente los detalles que he echado en falta en las instrucciones. Hay dos maneras de operar para leer las distancias. La primera es la que aparece en el punto 6 de las instrucciones (titulado Instruccion). Esta es mejor olvidarla porque no sirve para el golf. La segunda aparece descrita en el punto 9 (con el título "Modo bloqueo") y es la que debe usarse en el campo de golf. Para ello, pulse un instante el botón de encendido del aparato (núm. 4 en las instrucciones). A continuación enfoque el objetivo hacia la bandera (o el obstáculo que le interese) y vuelva a pulsar el mismo botón, esta vez manteniéndolo sin soltar hasta que se produzca una vibración y/o aparezca la lectura en el visor.Por último, me informaron de que tardaría más de un mes en llegar, pero llegó en un par de semanas.

Having played multiple higher end rangefinders I can say that this unit is a phenomenal value for the price. Im confident the average golfer could gain a lot from carrying this unit. Carrying case is great, I would prefer it on the tighter side as mentioned in a previous review. Will definitely be recommending to friends and other players on the course

They have sent me the new range finder. Sales rep. was very helpful in resolving the issue.I am very satisfied with the product now. Would recommend it highly.

The rangefinder works great. I've played 5 rounds with it now and the yardage appears to be very accurate and the same as guys were getting with Bushnell and other high end rangefinder. The only issue I've found is it has a tough time locking onto pins with forested backgrounds or to pins at a distance of 200+ yards. But the initial estimated distance is pretty accurate. Also the picture in the ad shows that it's red on the frame around the lens. The one I got is grey around the lens.

Received item nicely packaged. I used to have a Bushnell x2 but lost it only after 2 months. This rangefinder is very similar and case is identical to the Bushnell’s. I can definitely say it is as accurate since validating with my golfing buddy who is using a Bushnell. I am impressed with this product. The vibrate is not as strong in the sense it’s softer but works well. Excellent customer service. +++++

Got this for under $100.00, took it to the range and was accurate to the markers which is exactly what I need it to do. Comes with a new CR2 battery, wrist strap and hard cover carrying case...perfect and especially for the price you can't go wrong. This also has slope built in so another added bonus. Thank you

After a few months of use the laser and object locator were off. I contacted AOfar's service dept and they were very quick to respond. They had a replacement in the mail before I could send the faulty unit back!!! I think the range finder is excellent value but the service was exceptional when you consider the range finders price range!!Again thanks to Setlla and their Customer service staff!!

Haven't taken it to the course yet. Only used it on 20-150 yards down the street around the property. Seems about right. For 100 bucks so far I like it.Sharp & sturdy feeling unit. The case is strong but way to tight. Good for storage and travel.I'm hitting the links this week and will update then.Update: works great on the course. Accurate and easy to use. Compared it to 2 others in my group a bushnell and a GPS watch..all were within 2 yards of each other. Good enough for my 10 handicap.

I would highly recommend this product.It is affordable and super easy to use and most importantly, works great.The range is precise with many different modes.I use it for shooting and hiking. It also gives degrees of incline which is very handy.I'd buy this again and recommend it to anyone who is on a budget but still wants a high quality gadget!

Using this product for golf. I like that it is waterproof and you can turn the slope feature on and off. On for practice rounds and off for actual tournaments. Accurate lightweight and easy to use. Carrying case included and battery. Delivery was in less than 24 hours! I would recommend this product.

It is not accurate at all, the distance is about 30 yards off. Would not recommend this product at all

I've only had a chance to use it one time but it was lightweight, easy to use and seemed to be very accurate.I did get some odd readings but I think it was user error
