Funko Legacy Action: Game of Thrones Series 2- Brienne of Tarth Action Figure

If you're on the fence about purchasing the Dark Horse PVC statue ($29.99) and if you're on a budget, this Brienne figure is Perfect. Retail: $19.99 but showed up at Target for $9.99! The armor alone is worth it! Face sculpt has close likeness to the actress but not spot on. Be very careful with these Funko Legacy figures, they joints are very tight and brittle. I advise warming up all joints before articulating any of the limbs. Breakage will occur!!! Overall, this is a excellent figure and glad to be able to add to my Game of Thrones collection!!!

I've left her in the box, so I can't speak to articulation. I like that she doesn't have wires to keep her attached to the plastic form, I wish more action figures were like that. I think she looks just like the character (whom I admire very much).

Looks and holds great for the low price! I was a little bit surprised, to be frank, but this model turned out to be really nice for its value. Her two hands and arms bands / gloves move independently. Stands upright pretty but takes a bit of tinkering to get the stature correct. The sword hilt easily inserts into either of her hands.

Brienne is a great figure. Joints were a little stiff so I used a hair-dryer to loosen them up a bit. Her sword doesn't fit perfectly in her hand but it doesn't come loose, either. The sculpt is great and even though I ordered mine online, I found that the paint job was also flawless so maybe I got lucky? These series 2 figures seem like they are definitely a step up from the first series figures. I'd certainly recommend them for fans of the show/books or figure collectors.

Ok, I put it 4 stars because the figure has a great detail and the paint its very decent, has a lot of articulation with a decent plastic quality, it doesn't feel cheap at all. BUT, the joints are made of transparent plastic and the paint job glue them in some parts that if you try to force the movements... will end breaking it... very easy indeed. THE SOLUTION for new items (the one you have already broke, will be returned for a change to funko or amazon, no fix in there). Luckily I read the previous comments that warning it, and I used an old method with my new figures:1.-You will need a baby oil and a hair dryer2.-The figures came inserted in the vinyl case so the hands are inserted but not moored, so you must take the figure out slowly.3.-For each articulation , you must add a drop of oil and start to move gently the articulation up to down, if it moves fine, keep moving it to insure that the oil penetrates the articulation. IF IT DOESN'T4.- MOVE, don't force it!!!!, here is where the hair dryer is needed.4.-For about 1 or 2 minutes with slow speed, heat the articulation one at the time, check time to time until it starts to feel a little soft, turn of the hair dryer and start to move gently but firm the articulation up to down, it will start to move, add one drop of oil and repeat the movement.5.- At the end you will have oil in all the body of your figure, clean the excess with a paper tower. And thats all.I already used this method with Jon snow, Daenerys targaren, White Walker, Tyrion lanister, Rocketeer and Brienne of Tarth. Not a break or damage or any kind. Now I can move freely my figures, but of course, don't play hard with them, transparent plastic is delicate by nature.Now I have a 5 star figures.Good luck

Brianne's armor is richly detailed and perfectly constructed. This is the only figure from the Legacy line that I own so I can't compare it to any others but Brianne is of excellent quality and inexpensive. I'm impressed with the artistic design and happy with the purchase.

Way underpriced action figure! If hasbro made a figure this good it would be 50 bucks. The face--while I'm unsure of the likeness--is beautifully painted and life like. The sword accessory is somewhat fragile, but also impeccably historically accurate. The armor is well done on a soft plastic, and does not hinder articulation much.
