Beautiful, Expensive, Small Capacity
First, let me say that this is by far the prettiest diffuser I've owned. It is beautiful. The look of it is what led me to purchase it in the first place. In that respect, it does not disappoint. Unfortunately, there were no details about the diffuser (capacity, function), and no one had purchased it to review it, so I decided to be the first (did I mention it's really attractive?). The capacity is limited. It's only an 80 mL tank. They could easily have fit a larger capacity tank... 250 mL probably would not have been a problem. For 80 mL, the price is way too high (in my opinion). Most 80 mL diffusers that I've seen come with a USB option (because they are small). This one does not. It's a standard plug (which is fine, as that's my preference). There is no option to have the light on and the diffuser off. They are on the same switch. One press of the button turns the diffuser/light color-changing on, two presses selects the light color (diffuser still on), three leaves the diffuser on, but the light off, and four presses turns everything off. There are no hourly settings for the diffuser. It's on until it runs out... I literally just set it up, so I'll have to let you know how long it lasts at a later date (don't know yet if it automatically shuts off when it reaches empty). The button is on the bottom, so you either have to pick it up every time you want to make an adjustment, or the instructions tell you to push down on the entire thing (a little awkward at first, but it works). The lights are all very vibrant. There are seven colors: white, yellow, red, magenta, purple, blue, turquoise. Switching from yellow to red, you get a hint of green-ish and orange, but it's basically gone before you can tell, so good luck stopping on those colors if you want them. The button doesn't "reset" after you've pushed it, meaning if you choose one color and want to change it later, you have to continue to cycle through until the diffuser turns off to restart it. Your hands may turn black from handling the exterior mosaic cover, at least initially; mine did.PROS -BeautifulCONS -CapacityFunctionalityPriceThe limited functionality is something I can live with. I usually set my diffusers to "Auto" throughout the day, anyway, and I don't need a "nightlight" function. The 80 mL tank is the part that I think makes this a 3-star product over 4- or 5- for the price. If the price were more reasonable, I'd rate it higher, but I can't justify knowingly spending more than $25 or $30 for an 80 mL tank... even a pretty one.
