Fatboy Pupillow Indoor Outdoor Bean Bag Pouf Ottoman and Seat, Red

The company I work for has it's European headquarters in the Netherlands, which is where I first encountered the Fatboy yard pillows. On my first visit I noticed the Fatboy loungers in their native environment... out in the light rain, in the common spaces. When it wasn't drizzling, I did notice people actually using the giant lawn pillows. Which I found interesting, but left it at that.The next year I saw the exact same collection out there on the lawn, still being used. I actually tried sitting on one. So. You don't so much sit on them as be ABSORBED into them, and that is the entire appeal of these things. Depending on the model, it can be super squishy (and to be honest it can be very silly and entertaining to actually remove yourself from them... you'll find that the tiny beads just give way as you try and get up). That's why there are many versions. Currently at home we have the Pupillow (reviewed here) as well a few of the large rectangle shape and one with the clips to hold it more easily in sitting shape. They are all good. We fight over them during yard time.The Pupillow is prefect for a Fatboy novice. It's a huge round shape that's easy to get into and get out of. It's made of Sunbrella (which I'd always advise, as you WILL want to take these outside), and it has a special panel on the bottom that keeps it even more wet-safe. I could see it working on a patio outside permanently, even in a rainy place.I think Fatboy will make your yard or patio a better, nicer looking place to be, and that is their stated intent. We are in the habit of having 'Fatboy Time' in the yard each day once everyone is done at at home. I received nothing for this review. I just like these things, better than any chair or lounger we have owned.
