Works perfect
I bought this for my 98 GMC dually. The installation was simple and it's still working great.

It gets the job done for a great value
I installed it on my 2011 Hyundai elantra touring and it works as expected. sometimes it lacks in the remote response but I can't ask for more at this price point. Overall it works well but installation is the only concern since it is a little different if you don't have a wiring diagram of your vehicle power lock system.

Universal keyless entry kit-means you have to figure out wiring
This is a kit, to fit *any* vehicle, electric or pneumatic locks.Being a Universal kit, this means that it is up to you (or whoever you hire) to figure out how to wire it into the car, and you can then determine which of the features you wish to be able to use.The kit is designed to honk the horn repeatedly, for pretty much any action. The kit is designed to flash 2 sets of lights, ideally for both blinkers, to flash hazard lights. The kit is designed to be able to run power windows up.The kit is designed to be able to pop the electric solenoid for the trunk. In my case, me and my mechanic removed many of the wires in the pigtail, and wired it to the body computer in a 2001 Chevy Malibu. This required installing a resistor on one of the wires, and connecting it to another, to trigger the door locks. Because the mechanic wanted to only hook it to the parking lights, and I didn't want the window up or horn, we were able to leave 6 wires in the pigtail, two of which got connected using a resistor, leaving only 5 wires to wire to the car.The box consists of power to 2 separate light wires, a horn wire, a trunk wire, a power window up wire, there are also 2 relays with common, normal on, normal off, for you to wire for the door lock control. In my case, it takes approx 3 seconds of button to pop the trunk, but the door locks work immediately.Given the price of this kit, it works as well as I could hope. I wouldn't replace factory keyless with this, but, if you want keyless, without factory/dealer pricing, this is a Real Option....

Easy to install, well worth the exceptionally low price
Unit came with basic schematic instructions. Car Dealer provided installation instructions from Toyota. The majority of the installation time came from disassembling and then reassembling the kick panels and under dash area.

Wires all quickly melted!
I'll be the first to admit that I am no expert in car wiring. I bought this for my 07 Ford E350. The instructions don't have a wiring diagram for my model (one strike against it), but Amazon says it's compatible I found some instructions online that seemed right. So I hooked everything up, and everything worked fine. But then I noticed that the wires were getting warm when I used the clicker, and then a minute later all of them were melting together, and I had to quickly disconnect the battery and remove the unit. They sent me a replacement, I installed it again. Everything seemed to be working fine. I noticed a little later when I used the clicker a burning smell, so I took out the unit, and again the wires were melting. Thankfully I realized before anything went further wrong. It could be possible that the instructions I followed were wrong, I miswired it and there was a short. But I rather think that the problem was different. The wires that were provided with this were much, much thinner than the ones to the locks in my vehicle. I suspect that they are just too thin (at least to use with the requirements for my vehicle) and just heated up when used and melted until they could short out and melt down further.I would recommend against this unit

Made my old 95 Jeep Cherokee Keyless
This was pretty nice, I used the enclosed instructions to wire into my jeeps existing harness and now I have key less entry on my old 95 jeep grand Cherokee and the existing switch still works. Took all of about 10 minutes to install this and another 10 for some new actuators.

Great bargain, works great!
It's a great bargain. Not for someone who has little or no mechanical and electrical knowledge. It works great!
