Best Rob Zombie album. This Deluxe Edition also comes with all the music videos for the album, which I was also looking for.

Superb vinyl release. No issues at all.

I knew Rob Zombie through 'The Matrix' soundtracks.I also knew the ' La Sexorcisto ' White Zombie's album...But when I came into this... wow, this is very strong stuff !Extra strong and punchy tunes, it's like riding the Ghost-Train listening to rumbling rock !Recommended !!!

This new LP release is fine, but received two very much warped copies from Amazon. Returned and gave up for now.

If you don't have this album, it's definitely worth considering getting this deluxe version. The album is full of classic Rob Zombie songs with no skippers!

Ive always liked what i've heard of ZOMBIE before so i thought i'd like this,and decided to get the deluxe edition for all the bonus stuff on the DVD,hoping it was worth it. oh boy,was it!The album is quite short,but it is a darn good album with songs like SUPERBEAST and DRAGULA proving he knows how to rock with the very best of them. There's just something different about his music,something so many artists try to come up with but never do.So not only do you get a killer album,but there is of course the DVD,the DVD that makes this the deluxe version of course.So soak in the hellish visuals that go with the beast of mayhem's music,and grin like the devil gaining souls.The DVD includes videos for every song that is on the CD and remix versions of LIVING DEAD GIRL and RETURN OF THE PHANTOM STRANGER. This is a DVD that not only proves the ladies aren't shy about getting their boobs out and ZOMBIE ain't pulling any puches,but also the devil has the best music. You want all out,kick ass ZOMBIE style rock?,what you waiting for?,here it is,hell's never sounded so good!

When White Zombie called time on their reasonably short career, it looked like the end of it, but frontman Rob was having none of it.Rising from the dark with this debut, he quickly blew his past into the cobwebs with his new solo cult horror-show antics. The rabble rousing ode to the Munsters car 'Dragula' obviously stands out, which is no mean feat given the rest of this punchy, hook laden record.

I have had the CD since it first came out but this deluxe -deluxe edition with the DVD is a must for all Zombie fans.Absolute genius and a heap of fun all rolled in together is just obvious.Keep it coming......

Llevaba años queriendo este disco en vinilo, pero los picture discs no me gustan mucho y menos si no traen artwork, esta reedición por ese lado es perfecta, el gatefold y el insert incluyen todo el arte del booklet del cd, hubiera sido genial un booklet igual pero en 12" pero supongo que eso lo hubiera hecho muy caro. En los reviews leo muchas criticas al gramaje del vinilo y es que lo anuncian como de 180 grs, y esta edición viene mucho más ligera, y es que hay dos versiones, dos pressings diferentes, esta versión que es como de 150grs de EU y esta la versión de 180grs europea, ambas tienen sus pros y sus contras, es como si apropósito hubieran querido arruinar a este disco.La versión que venden aquí es la de EU, el gatefold es unos milímetros mas grueso que el europeo, la calidad de audio es muy buena, a pesar de que el disco es muy delgado, pero la calidad es media mala, el innersleeve es de papel genérico y por ello aunque nuevo esta lleno de hairlines, los bordes no son perfectos trae hasta rebabas del plastico.Por otro lado la versión europea que compre en un "sangrons" es unos milimteros más chico el gatefold, la espina es mas delgada con el nombre de rob zombie mas pequeño, pero el disco si es de 180 grs, con innersleve de papel plastificado, super limpio y brillante, bordes perfectos, pero se escucha demasiado mal, como saturado con agudos muy molestos, tan mal sonido que molesta al oido escucharlo muy alto, y este es un disco para escuchar a todo volumen.Si lo hubiera sabido no compraba ninguno, pero nadie lo dice y ya es muy tarde, si lo que quieres es que se vea bonito y no lo piensas escuchar comprate el europeo, y si lo que quieres es la música y no eres muy quisquilloso esta edición de aquí es la buena, muy buen audio para escuchar aunque el disco este hecho con la patas.

10/10Solid album, brings back that nostalgia, that spooky groovy heavy Halloweeny horror metal, heavy rock that is so accustomed to the Rob Zombie name by now.The first solo album since his departure and disbanding of White Zombie a decade previous, this album is not new territory for Rob or his fans. While it may be more horror fantasy in nature, the lyrics, the riffs and overall production and presentation are right at home, and aside from some synthesis, you'd be surprised that this wasn't a White Zombie release.I would liken this album to an homage of horror films, a heavy metal love letter to the old Hammer Film movie posters, and scary cinema of yesteryear, but with late 90s early 2000s rock lineage. It may be sophomore at times, but it's fun, and very grindhouse sleaze - the kind you're unashamed of.Get it more. You cant ignore. Meet the creeper!

El Rob Zombie me párese un músico fantástico, en su nueva faceta como director de cine la verdad creo ya no tanto,....pero bueno aquí esta como músico y creo este es uno de sus discos + representativos,......no soy nada objetivo, este lo escuche como mil veces allá por finales de los 90s inicio de los 00s.Ese sonido como que metal o hard rock mezclador con electrónico na + ya no se da,......ESTA DE POCO M,......... LIVING DEAD GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Der Name ist (fast) ProgrammEinige Dinge fallen definitiv in's Gewicht, wenn man sich entscheiden soll "nehme ich die Standard-Version oder die Deluxe Edition?"Zum einen natürlich der Preis. Die Deluxe Edition ist alles andere als ein Schnäppchen.Es ergibt sich die Frage "ist es das wert?" und ich kann nur sagen, für Fans von Rob Zombie "definitiv!", für Neulinge oder pure Musikinteressenten "eher weniger" bis "gar nicht".Die DVD ist mir sämtlichen Songs des Albums in Videoform vollgepackt.Man darf nicht vergessen, Rob Zombie ist neben Musiker, Komponist und Regisseur auch noch Comiczeichner und hat hier quasi einmal einen netten Querschnitt seiner Fähigkeiten demonstriert. Die Artworks, die Songs und die Videos entspringen alle einem einzigen kreativen Kopf.Das Digi-Pack definitiv aufwändig und auffällig (dagegen verschwindet die Special Edition von Hellbilly Deluxe 2 schon nahezu).Die Songs sind die gleichen wie auf dem Standard-Album, die Playlist kann man bereits oft genug irgendwo recherchieren. Wer Wert auf das "Besondere" legt wird nicht an der "Deluxe Edition" vorbeikommen.Wie allerdings in einer anderen Rezension bereits erwähnt, der "Hot Herman Remix" von "Dragula" hätte wirklich gut mit drauf gepasst. Schade eigentlich, wäre dies noch drauf, könnte ich das "(fast)" aus der ersten Zeile guten Gewissens entfernen.

Ich hab mir die Deluxe Edition von Robs Kultalbum jetzt vor bereits 4 Jahren angeschafft und freue mich immernoch über den Kauf: Songs wie "Dragula", "Superbeast" oder "Living Dead Girl" gehören schließlich zu Zombies besten und man kann die Scheibe im Prinzip durchhören.Die Aufmachung der Deluxe Edition ist ein Augenfang, beinhaltet ein hübsch makabres Artwork-booklet und sticht ziemlich aus einer CD- Sammlung hervor.Auf der zweiten CD sind die Musikvideos aller Songs; recht bizarr, aber passend und recht unterhaltsam.Insgesamt finde ich den Preis gerechtfertigt, allein schon des aufwendigen Äußerens wegen, also nicht auf Miesmacher hören.
