That Time of The Month Again? The menstrual cycle is the regular natural change that occurs in the female reproductive system (specifically the uterus and ovaries) that makes pregnancy possible. The cycle is required for the production of ovocytes, and for the preparation of the uterus for pregnancy.Up to 80% of women report having some symptoms during the one to two weeks prior to menstruation.Common symptoms include acne, tender breasts, bloating, feeling tired, irritability and mood changes. These symptoms interfere with normal life and therefore qualify as a premenstrual syndrome in 20 to 30% of women. In 3 to 8%, they are severe.Just listen to the doctor: “Over 50% of women suffer primary menstrual cramps, for which they consume large amounts of painkillers.Livia uses a pain relief method that does not involve drug consumption. The idea is to close the "pain gates".The device stimulates the nerves, making it impossible for the pain to pass. The method Livia uses has been proven effective in several clinical studies and I strongly recommend the use of the device to relieve PMS at any time.” Prof. Bari Kaplan Women’s Hospital - Beilinson. The Livia has impressive Clinical Result in a leading medical institution conducted an independent clinical study in which 163 women who suffer from significant menstrual pain were given a Livia device.Did Livia help? Did it ever!Fully 80% of the women said that Livia allowed them to significantly or completely eliminate the use of pain medications. Livia: The drug-free solution to menstrual pain. Period.

Prodotto eccezionale!
Consigliatissimo.

Cutesy Tens Machine -- Worth the Price?? (DO NOT RECOMMEND for women with pain in front and back)
I have mixed feelings about Livia.I have severe lower back pain and menstrual cramps and I remember seeing this advertised for the last year or so. After 7 days, yes, 7!! I was at that point where I was desperate to try anything, so I hopped on Amazon and bought three different tens machines of varying price.I bought Livia ($160), 1byone Tens Machine ($75), and Omron Avail Tens Unit ($200 -$40 coupon).Pros...*Its cute*Its small & portable*It came fully charged (note: it says to charge upon opening, but the lights indicated it was already fully charged so... I just used it straight away)*Long-ish battery life*Comfortable vibrations*The cables are shortCons...*There's only 2 electrodes. To some this may be no big deal, but for someone that has pain in the back and the front, I needed more than two electrodes. 2 electrodes, just doesn't cut it. Yes, I felt better when I put the electrodes on my lower back, but then front would start aching and then what do you do? You have to decide which one hurts more. It's like playing a game of Russian Roulette with your uterus. And your uterus wins every time. Trust me.*The cables are short. It's both a pro and a con. It's not that big of a deal if you put on your front, but putting it on your back isn't as easy. I'm flexible, but the short cable can just be a nuisance.*The price. It is expensive, especially considering Tens Machines can range from about $30-$250.Overall...It's a good quality tens machine. The vibrations feel comforting and pain-numbing. But I feel it's overpriced for what you are getting, with only 2 small electrodes. If you are on a budget, there are much cheaper machines out there, but you may sacrifice portability, battery life, and comfort of vibrations. And if you spend just a few bucks more, you can get an even better quality Tens Machine with more features. My Recommendation...Omron Avail Tens Unit won hands down for its convenience and ability to not just block my pain, but also alleviate it. You can search for this device to read my review for it.

Terrible Customer Service
Company ( Livia) has terrible customer service. They ignore emails and only respond to what works for them. Good luck getting support if anything goes wrong.

Probably works best for non-intense period pain.
Meh- sometimes it helps, but maybe as a distraction. I have seen many physicians about my pain and this is an ok distraction, but it certainly didn’t “turn off” the pain for me. Maybe if someone’s cramps aren’t so bad ibuprofen can work for them, this would work. But I think I’m just off the charts for pain or something.

Product: Ehhh. Customer Service: Amazing
I think this product could be great, but it didn't work for me. There might have been a defect with the item I received. I don't believe a tens unit is supposed to sting when applied properly. However, I cannot sing enough praises of Amazon's response to the issues I encountered. Their customer service is wonderful, and I don't think I'll ever regret purchasing something from them.

Magic worker!
I bought this for my 16 year old. She periods have kept in bed. We got this as a last afford. The first day of her period usually means not leaving the house. As soon as she turned the device on she felt so much better. It didn't take all the discomfort away however it made it so she could move and be functional. I totally recommend this device for anyone who has bad cramps.
