good quality
Nice quality dog socks. I like the double sided grips. Great way to protect against hot pavement, etc. You just have to get your dog used to wearing them if they have never worn socks or boots before.

Stiff
While my puppy is just getting used to wearing paw coverings it sounded like he was wearing horse shoes and they kept coming off his paws with every step

Quality Paw Protection, Slips On Easily
I have an eight-month-old Maltese puppy who loves outdoor activities. To protect her delicate paws from hot pavement and spiky round balls that fall from trees in the park, I decided to order these dog boots. I also thought they would be helpful in the winter to protect her from ice.The boots are very well-made and open wide enough to easily slide over her paws. I followed the seller's suggested measurements, and they are the appropriate size for her. They are secured with Velcro straps. The quality of the boots is excellent, with a thick, durable bottom and soft neoprene uppers. In addition, they have reflective accents. The only problem I had was with my dog. I managed, under great protest, to slip one boot on, but she wouldn't keep it on long enough for me to take a photo. She just wasn't having it. I could see it was upsetting her, so I wasn't going to force her and will try again in the future.I took comfort from the included pamphlet that my dog's reaction is not uncommon and appreciated the encouraging tips that will hopefully have my puppy wearing these boots in the near future.I've included photos to give you a closer look and hope that they help you out in deciding what's best for your pet. Thank you!

Close but no cigar.
I purchased the large for my aging German Shepard to help with slipping on her rear legs. The boots are too heavy and the socks wear out in minutes. These are ok. They are bulky and the rubber is ok. The rubber is hard so not as much grip as I would like. The upper material appears to be similar to parachute cloth which slips down. Can someone just make the socks with the rubber on the bottom completely covering the toes?

Every Dog needs shoes / booties
We wanted to have some boots for Stevie to protect her feet for walks during the hot, HOT days when that concrete is scorching hot. She likes to walks but we really hate taking her to avoid burning her pads. These dog shoes are really nicely put together and should serve our purpose well. They slide right on and velcro into place. The shoes even have some reflective material to help people spot her if it is dark out. I think the one challenge will be, getting her used to wearing shoes. She got them off the first day but they say that is normal and it will normally take a week or so for your dog to get used to the shoes. They have some helpful directions to help train your dog into this new process. With winter approaching in 3-4 months, I can see these being nice for her feet in cold or snowy weather. We are glad to find these as an option and find these to be a nice addition to any dog lover.

No grip
It's a given that dogs will be uncomfortable walking in shoes/boots. These don't have much of a grip. I tried them on two dogs. They shoes came off one of them and both of them struggled and slipped on the wood floors with them on. They didn't do much better on tile.

Dog socks
Didn't fit my dog because of her dew claws. They do seem well made.
