Great replacement
Works better and lasts longer in my backup power supply and is 1/3 the weight of the original. Very happy.

Easy replacement for a UPS battery
After reading a while back about the LiFePO4 battery chemistry and learning about how much of an improvement it is over previous popular lithium and nickel metal hydride chemistries, I've been eagerly waiting for it to come to market in affordable forms. When one of my desk UPS units decided it was time for a battery replacement recently, this NPP battery met my wallet objectives and was the correct size for replacing the old battery. I was a little hesitant to put a lithium-anything battery in a unit that was designed around the traditional lead-acid battery type, but with further reading and verification in this listing to verify that a Battery Management System was included inside the battery, I set aside my concern and went for it. When it arrived I was amazed by how much lighter it was. It fit into the UPS perfectly, and when it plugged the unit in, it immediately began charging and didn't error out in any way. I kept close tabs on the unit while it charged, and checked temperatures on all sides of the case to make sure nothing was overheating, but everything stayed cool. After eight hours of waiting to be sure it had a good charge, I plugged stuff back into the UPS in its usual location and then once everything was up and on, I unplugged the UPS from the wall to simulate a power outage. Everything held up just fine, the UPS didn't have any errors beyond its usual power loss beep, and I was sold on the performance of the battery. Given the claims of the longevity of the battery chemistry, I'm looking forward to seeing if it really will last that long (hopefully the UPS itself will). But for now, it's exceeded all of my expectations and I'm quite impressed with it.

NPP (5 Years Warranty) 12.8V 8Ah LiFePO4 Deep Cycle Battery
Battery appears well built and only needed topped off when received. Very light compared to agm but that is expected. I am going to make a small ammo can battery backup/power box since it fits a small ammo can perfectly with plenty room for other internal wiring & switches etc.. Our power tends to go out for brief periods during the heat of the summer and monsoon storms but without at least a fan it gets very hot fast. This should jeep a DC fan or even a small ac fan powered through a small inverter long enough. A small ammo box would be easy and light enough to throw in the car etc. to keep a phone or tablet charged for a day or two without having to keep the car running. Even with a relatively inexpensive solar panel and controller it can be used for occasional off grid use for those weekend trips.

Lasted 3 days
Made sure battery was fully charged, it appears to have, 10/2023 manufactured date, if so, that’s partially the problem, installed it in my game feeder, replaced a battery that was already in the feeder and working fine, battery was installed on 11/4/24, mid morning. Today is 11/7/24 and battery is completely dead! My game feeder is feeding 3 seconds, at 7am & again at 4:30pm. Only twice a day! Will be returning for refund!

Has low voltage discharge cutoff and measures very close to listed capacity
I measured 100wh out of this battery. It was listed at 102wh, but the low voltage discharge protection may have just been a hair conservative. I'm happy enough at 100wh, that's fine with me. The battery seems good in all other ways and I haven't had any issues with it yet.

Good little 12.8V battery
This LiFEPO4 battery is relatively small and light weight. A bank of these could be used to create more voltage or a larger Amp Hour power source. The maximum bank of batteries is four (4).The battery has a built in battery management system (known as a BMS) to keep charging and utilization under control. The battery came nearly fully charged. I put a charger on it and it took less than 5 minutes to reach full capacity. The battery at full charge holds 13.7V at no load. The voltage drops to the 12.8 rating when a load is applied. The BMS holds the voltage at 12.8V until the battery has been depleted to the point where that voltage can no longer be maintained. This is both for safety and longevity. These batteries have many uses. I will be using this one as a backup power source for a CPAP machine during power outages. The high number of cycles and the battery's ability to hold a charge for a long period of time makes it ideal for this application.

Alarm Panel
This has been working very well in the last weeks in our Elk Alarm Panel. There is not much to say about it other than it was a straight swap with the normal AGM batteries that tend to die every 1 1/2 years. I will not hold my breath for this to die this soon considering it comes with 2000 cycle + rating. Lithium is the way to go as we slowly convert everything in our household.

Decent LiFePO4 battery
It's a pretty decent LiFePO4 battery. Very lightweight as these batteries tend to be. It arrived at 12.7v which is a little low, but it charged quickly and was back in action. Discharges and recharges without issue. I did not test the 8Ah rating. The cycle life of the battery seems a little overboard and range is too broad, but it should be good for at least a few thousand cycles. I wouldn't put too much thought into the warranty, it states 5 years in the product title, but the description only gives 100-days and 1 year.In any case, it works for me.
