Etruscan Money Amphora Terramundi money pots are hand thrown in Italy to a design which is over 2000 years old. The British Museum holds early examples of such "Etruscan Money Amphora". These pots are traditionally fed with money until they are full - and they you smash them open! A pot full of mixed silver will give you around £200, so just imagine filling it with pound coins and notes as well! Tradition It is customary replace the pot and spend the money on only "good things". Use the broken pot for plants, candle holders, desk tidies. To get a clean break, it is recommended that you insert the claw of a hammer into the money slot and lever it upwards. Or you can go nuts and smash it with the hammer if the excitement is too much. We won't judge. Once you have cracked the lid for those precious coins then you can re-use the pot as it makes a very attractive plant pot or key bowl. Give your friends and family the gift of savings! It's far more fun than the bank.
