DashSport Soccer Shin Guards Youth Includes Two Shin Guards and Two Compression Calf Sleeves with Pockets

I purchased these for my best friends daughter who will be starting her first year of soccer this season. After looking at many other options, I decided on these (thankfully), for 2 main reasons:1. Pouch in the Sleeve: Most other guards of this style just have a sleeve that you slide over the guard piece. THESE have a sleeve with a pouch build into them. The pouch does a great job keeping the guard in place so the guard doesn't move around, when you move.2. Comfort: The padding on the back of the guards is awesome. And it's made from a material that shouldn't get smelly with sweat. And the sleeve material (I had to try them on myself...shhh!), is extremely soft yet durable. The perfect combo.This isn't the first time I've bought DashSport soccer gear either, and definitely won't be the last. Thanks again DS!

My 8-year-old son has major issues about shin guards and how they feel. He loves these and it has saved us so much time getting ready for soccer - no more meltdowns on the floor! Also we have washed the shin guard sleeves and air dried them and they still fit perfectly.

We were so excited to get these shin guards because my son has complained constantly about the shin guards with the foot straps. While the shin guards are great and seem durable, the compression sleeves are way too big and are basically useless for my son. I had to purchase straps to keep the shin guards in place which is unfortunate because my son says the straps aren't the most comfortable and we would have preferred the compression sleeves if they fit. Quite disappointing. Wish the sleeves were smaller.

After buying 4 different shin guard options for my son, these are it!! He is 4 and about 41" tall. We ordered the XS. They fit perfectly. He had been complaining about traditional shin guards around his foot and ankle so I knew covers with inserts was the way to go, but finding ones that were small enough was the struggle. We tried two others before finding these. He wore them all week to soccer camp and had zero complaints. Easy to wash and have ready for the next day. This will be our go-to product for years to come.

The guards themselves are sturdy, but as others have said, the sleeve leaves much to be desired. I used the sizing guide but the sleeves are too big for my 7-yr old. They slip down and the guard comes out after about 30 seconds of running. Needs some elastic bands inside the sleeve and something to keep the guard in the pocket, minor changes that would bump up to 5 stars. Unfortunately for us we can’t use them at all

My son has been using them for almost a year. Other than the sleeve got little bigger, as expected, the shin guards kept their shape. The sleeve pockets are very useful to prevent the guards from slipping, as I have seen from other kids.

I originally bought these for my 3 year old, but they are too big. They fit my 6 year old who is a little over 4’ tall. He had some issues with the shin guard falling out of the sleeve during games so now we just make sure his soccer socks are folded over the top portion of the shin guard sock to make a seal so it doesn’t fall out. He seems to like them and they have sustained several kicks and hits this season. Great product.

My son seemed to have skin irritations when using regular shinguards so I was looking for something to provide a protective layer between his skin and the shinguard. This shinguard worked perfectly and he no longer has any irritations. The shinguards are a bit narrow and curved so these may not be for players with wider shins. The bonus to these shinguards are that it’s easier to take on and off. No issues of shinguards coming out of the sleeve.
