At Elmhurst we use an innovative milking process that allows us to produce a delicious, whole food, non-dairy milk that contains all of the nutrition of whole nuts with a superior creamy texture without ever using industrial stabilizers, emulsifiers or gums.1. WE NEVER USE INDUSTRIAL FILLERS - We don't use industrial stabilizers, emulsifiers or gums like carrageenan, locust bean, or xanthan, which many of the leading brands do (have you read their ingredient lists?).2. WE USE A MORE NUTRITIOUS QUANTITY OF INGREDIENTS - We use more nuts in every serving, often up to 4 times the amount, than the other leading brands. Using more whole nuts provides a more nutritious and satisfying nutmilk.3. WE USE COLD MILLING - We use a simple mechanical milling and pressing technique that naturally converts our whole nuts into a delicious, creamy milk.4. WE RETAIN AND BLEND IN ALL OF THE NUTRITION FROM OUR INGREDIENTS - Our innovative process extracts all of the protein, fat and micronutrients of our ingredients and makes these more accessible for digestion.How Does Our Milking Process Work?Our patented process is a cold milling technique, we've coined "milking" that allows us to produce a non-dairy milk containing all of the nutrition of the nuts in a creamy emulsion. This technique successfully extracts all protein, fat and micronutrients from the whole ingredients so there is no need to fortify our products. Our milking process extracts all of the nutritional benefit of the nuts while producing appealing subtle flavors. Our innovative process allows for safe consumption over longer periods producing a superior, longer shelf life.
