How to Draw Animals (How to Draw Books for Kids)

I have wanting to been learning to draw good at animals. I make purchase of book to learn drawing of rare animals including white tiger, red panda, and mysterious cave salamander. Book is excellent for childrens learning drawings, but is not appropriate for adult who likes to draw exotic and difficult to find animals. Not for adults.

We purchased two of these “How To Draw” books in this series. I was very disappointed to find that many of the same subjects are included in both books, which makes it not worth the purchase of both. I have learned that the third one we did not purchase also contains repeated material from the two we purchased. I think we will be gifting one of them to a friend, unless we return it to Amazon. Also, the teaching approach in these books falls short in that some of the steps are simply erasing part of what the artist draws and is not color coded to make it obvious to the perceiver, which is confusing to my 5-6 year old. These are thin books and at least two pages are dedicated to each item drawn; therefore, the book doesn’t include very many drawings in total. My child completed all of the lessons in a very short afternoon.

Great for my 5 year old, she follows the septa and draws them on her own and they look like the animals. Only thing is I wish you didn't have to erase some of the lines, she doesn't understand that. Still a good book though. Simple pictures, and lots of them!

Easy to follow

I bought this book for my 5 year old nephew. While helping him find a picture, I saw the title page did not go with this book and was not for children. Thankfully he did not see it, and we have a sense of humor! Thanks for the Christmas laugh!

Great for instruction

My 6 year old granddaughter loved it. She loves to draw and the step by step instructions were easy for her to follow.

Was wet from delivery... Shame as my step daughter loves to draw... Unused present due to damage

My daughter loves this book (she's 6) and so do l. The book uses circles, ovals and lines to draw the animals in easy to follow stages, which we both use to draw. Our pictures now look like the animals we are attempting to draw
