Be prepared to clean these...allot.
They're ok for what they are, just a cheap pair of fold-able reading glasses. The case they come in is nice, zips shut, and has a belt loop for attaching to your waste ala utility belt style, but the loop part is just a strip of elastic material that really won't hold up for much wear or tear. That being said, the case is too bulky to just shove into your pocket; it's the size and shape of a hard boiled egg, not very discreet. The case does come with a cleaning cloth, which you will need constantly; the lenses are un-coated plastic, and magnets for dirt and smudges. I've never had to clean lenses as often as these; they even get a "film" on while you're wearing them (I guess from airborne dust or some such). Really, as often as you have to clean these, you'll begin to question their utility. The frame build is ok, and the folding mechanics adequate. Again, for the price these are a fine pair of glasses. But if need glasses for more than just the occasional use, spend a little extra and get a good pair with coated glass lenses.

Believe the reveiws saying these glasses break quickly
Believe the negative reviews here - I'm usually a fan of "aggregate review score" but in this case, either a lot of people are reviewing based on initial quality and not 1-2 month quality, or a lot of the reviews may be seeded/paid for. I have encountered EXACTLY the same issue as others, one pair of glasses broke a nose-pad within 2 days, the other one came apart after a little more than a month of usage. From examining my glasses, I don't think it's an issue with my pair, it's a design/quality issue with the glasses overall. Initial quality/fit/function was fine, but they will not last.

Great product!
Great product! The glasses are very comfortable whether wearing them fully on the nose bridge for full vision field needs or down the nose when doing both close and distant viewing. The folding temples take a bit of getting used to and it is difficult to open or close the glasses without putting some fingerprints on them, but I can live with that. The case design makes it easy to carry the glasses. One pair I used the zipper pull to put on the key ring for my car keys. I put a mini carabiner on the other case for when I'm not driving and use the carabiner to hook it on the belt loop of my trousers. That's the added advantage of getting two pair. I would definitely recommend these to my friends.

Excellent function and value
I must admit that I am completely delighted with these reading glasses. What does it take to elicit such a statement of praise? First, the product must be completely functional and well made, and second, it must represent a true value in price.Function: I am a big man, and I have a big head. A hat marked "one size fits all" is NEVER big enough. These glasses fit me. My wife is a petite, barely 5' tall woman with an appropriately small head. These glasses fit her. When folded into their small, well-made case, they easily slip into any pocket or purse ready for when you need them. I find my pair to be especially useful for changing lures when fishing and reading menus when dining out.Value: Are you kidding me! TWO pairs of glasses and Two cases for $9? You can't even get 2 meals at a fast restaurant for that. And they look good, too. Are they designer frames that make a fashion statement? No they are not, but if that is what you want, you can always go to the optometrist, pay 10 to 20 times as much, and get a bulky pair that take up three times as much space. In my mind that would be completely nuts, but you would look good.In summation, the Doubletake Foldable Readers are one of my very favorite purchases for all of 2017, and I highly recommend them.

Good travel glasses that fold and store
These are great backpack, purse or bag glasses. First off, these fold and come with a case which did set my expectations. These features speak to portability and compromise. These are portable, but for me, not small enough for regular pocket carry. The oval storage case protects and easily stows away in a backpack or bag. In a pinch, these glasses are available and remain protected when stored. The lenses and frame seem to be good quality, durability and clarity. I don't see any blurry spots from cheap lenses. They are stiff and require some working to loosen. Once they are open, they are full sized glasses which was a nice surprise and does explain the larger size of the oval storage case.I like them and I have no problems wearing these as my main readers if my less expensive un-foldable glasses aren't available. If you don't mind folding them up and unfolding them when you need them, these would make a great pair of everyday readers.

The glasses are compact and fold up easily. They are reasonably sturdy once opened and the lenses are clear and at the magnification ordered. Getting 2 for a reasonable price makes this even a better deal. They may be a little tight on people with a large head, but still certainly usable.

Hard to beat for the price.
Overall these glasses work very well. I like that there is an included cloth for wiping them that fits in one of the cases. One of the pair didn't fold up as tight as the other, but still fits in the case, not a big issue. Also, over time, they get a little looser, which hasn't been a problem, just something to note. The only complaint, and it is minor, is that the nose pads at the bridge are set far apart, so they can be a little uncomfortable at times.

Awesome - got lenses with my oftalmologist
These are awesome frames. I wanted them to keep in my belt and brought it to my optician. Initially he didn't want to allow me to put lenses in these arguing usually these are not "optical quality" or the frame wasn't "deep enough". When I handed him the frames he couldn't find anything wrong with them, so he brought them to the guy that order the glasses and he couldn't find anything wrong either. So they measured them and order lenses from them. I bought another pair or these to have as spares is the frame happens to fail in the future.
