Do not waste your money, I ordered this and installed with the 3M and screws and yes they are extremely secure inside the vehicle but, when I put my handgun with a loaded mag on it the gun falls off if you turn or hit a simple bump, the gun will fly across your floorboard. Which is very dangerous for multiple reasons. I have a sub compact PX4 beretta 9mm weighs way less than the 25lbs they claim to hold, even when loaded.

They didn’t want to hold my Sig Sauer 1911 (stainless steel) on only one magnet so I did have to install 2 on my bed frame (one near the end of the barrel and one up by the hammer). With the two magnets the length of my gun these things are PERFECT. I love the accessibility. It’s like a .3 second draw from sleep if you need it. I love these magnets and I bought more to install elsewhere.
