Great value tiny Ping tank
Needed a small Ping tank for my RV air bag suspension, this was perfect with lots of fittings available. Great value!,

Compact nice tank
I don’t have a lot of room for a bigger tank on one of my trucks but this little tank will fit and will do the job and that’s all it needs to be.

Threads Are Leaky
No amount of teflon tape can make up for poorly cut threads, no exception here. The tank seems to be constructed and welded well, but if you want to use it, get yourself a good pipe tap and tap the pipe threads a few turns further while using good cutting oil.

They paint the threads and you have to tap the threads before you can use them.
The cost but I would have paid more to not have extra work to do.

Air tank
This was shipped fast and was what I needed in a small tank for a pressure test simulator I built. The only downside was several of the fittings had very rough threads that looked to be painted over. I planned to chase the threads anyway but would have been nice to not have to. -1 star for this simple issue that could have been prevented.

Threads needed retapped.
Had to retap all the fittings, they didn't tap the fittings deep enough and the fittings wouldn't start.

Threads cut too deep and jagged.
As other reviewers have stated, the threads on these are not very good. I couldn't get them to seal with brass fittings and teflon tape. I cleaned the threads with a tap, but the problem is, that the existing threads are already too deep. When pipe threads are cut too deep, the tapered hole becomes larger. I only turned the tap half turn past hand tight, but then, the brass fittings would bottom out at the hex flange before becoming snug. Since I was using brass reducers from 1/2npt to 1/4npt, I epoxied the brass reducers into the tank. No more leaks after letting the epoxy cure for several days.

Not what was expected.
I ordered the 5L 5 port tank. In the picture it claims it has 1/4npt threads. This is not the case. The ports were 1/2npt. Not a deal breaker but had to spend another $15 on adapters to make it work. Also the comment on chasing the threads was a big help, there is paint and metal burrs in the threads. Overall this is a OK tank. I knew buying it had a few flaws, just wish the sizing was right. Still going to use it, hopefully it hold pressure.
