These Were Indispensable; Incredibly Sad They Are Discontinued...
... and with absolutely no alternative! I cannot believe that these were the ONLY dry erase fold-up game boards measuring at a standard 18"x18" out there, but as of yet I have been unable to find any others. Sad that I only bought three; even sadder that I can buy no more (that is why I came back to this page). Well, it'll be a eulogy for a product review, then.+1 Solid Construction; the board material underneath the dry erase surface is tough, sturdy, and would require intentional effort (in most cases) in order to bend to the point of causing damage. Notably but predictably, it becomes more than quadrupally as tough and immune to bending damage when it is folded up.+1 Versatile Compactness: not only does it fit nicely in most standard game box dimensions, but you could stow a spare one these in a remarkable number of places. I used to keep a spare tucked in the front pocket of an average 3-ring binder, which I would often pull out and unfold for diagramming complex concepts or structures. I kept the other spare in my car, for emergency sign communication, road trip passenger boredom, or some other spontaneous event during which it could be useful. In this manner, I am never without an essential tool for problem solving and the articulation of complex concepts.-1 Imperfect Erase. As I would never use these for a final product, but I constantly use them for prototyping and various forms of jotting, I really do not care that you can tell I've erased something before on the surfaces of these boards. It's a clean enough erase that it's not likely for the residue to be legible anymore, but not so clean that there won't be any leftover residue over time.+100 Reusability. The fact that these are dry erasable means EVERYTHING. You can use and reuse the same board for any number of game prototypes, note-taking sessions, diagramming sessions, what have you. That makes these extraordinarily more valuable than those other similarly-constructed game boards that are NOT dry erase. I bought my first board over a year ago now, and not even my most-abused board is showing signs of giving up.Welp. The time to type up reviews that nobody will likely read is now over. Now is the time to:(1) Buy "everyone else's" emphatically NOT dry-erasable 18"x18" fold-up boards;(2) Buy adhesive sheets of scissor-compatible, emphatically dry erase material; and(3) Find out if the marriage of these two unrelated products can match up to the now-discontinued original.

Great for kids & prototype game ideas!
I just bought this a few weeks ago, I’m making a board game, and until I get it right, I figured that I would be changing stuff around constantly. This board allows you to do that. It’s also a really good way to mimic some of your most favorite board games like monopoly, sorry, or clue. Otherwise it’s a really good board to try to come up with something unique of your own. The board is a bit smaller than other game boards like clue, by about an inch in width & length. It’s very close!I’ve left dry erase markers on the board for a few days, and it came off with little to no fuss. Just get a VERY SLIGHTLY DAMP paper towel to erase what may not come off after days & days of left on dry erase. I definitely recommend this product, I will be buying more for kids projects.

Reasonably Priced Handy Item
This is the type of item that has loads of uses, but isn't that easy to find. We've used it play made up games and for other temporary projects that needed a display and this has worked fine.

Flexible and easy to re-use. This is a great tool.
This is quite ingenious. I use it for working out the "lay of the land," and blocking scenes while I'm writing novels, but I'm sure it would be great for someone creating their own game. A very helpful tool, and lots better than wasting a ton of paper.

Great price! Bunched up creases...
Great product and very fun. I’ve used it now to design a couple different game boards! However, the creases in the middle have bunched up a little and some ink has stained the board in the creases.

I really liked this but I haven't had it too long and it's already falling apart. Some of the pieces are hanging on by a thread. I expected it to be sturdier since I haven't even used it qll that frequently but folding it seems to slowly bend the cardboard until it tears.
