I bought this fan to sit with me out on the deck and really liked it the first time I used it. The wind settings are powerful and the oscillation makes it even better. The remote works well and the fan beeps to let you know it's responding. I wouldn't exactly call this a lightweight fan--the plastic is lightweight, but the unit overall is a little hefty. But it feels durable and is very easy to carry, due to the little recessed handle at the top. The fact that there's a pocket for the remote is awesome, but it doesn't snap in in any sort of way, so the remote can easily fall out while you are moving the unit.Some other downsides of note:- The hook does not rotate, which I found a little inconvenient. The fan cannot rotate more than 90 degrees from the base, so there is no way to hang it from the opposite direction of the hook.- The LED indicator lights are not bright enough to see in the daylight.The biggest issue though is that the unit died on me after one use and would not turn on again after being left to recharge. There is no response from the buttons nor the remote, either plugged in or unplugged. I reached out to the seller via the warranty email and got a reply the next day. I sent a video of the fan failing to turn on and they shipped me a new one for free! Great customer service.The second fan is excellent and works as expected. I have had no problem running it for multiple hours at a time, including while plugged in and charging.

The media could not be loaded. We were looking for a good battery-operated fan, mostly for camping/driving in our RV, and this has been a good one. I didn't even know it oscillated until we got it. Not only does it do that, but you can change the angle of oscillation (either 45 or 90 degrees). It has 4 speeds, a timer (which isn't too useful to us), and a light (3 different brightness levels). As you can see in my video, one can also adjust the angle of the fan up or down. It comes with a remote, but we haven't used that yet.It has a 'hanger' built into the bottom so it can be hung on something. We haven't used that feature, but it could be helpful. The fan is not heavy, but it has a very stable base. When we're driving, the fan sits on the table and doesn't move. It has 4 little rubber feet. It also has a remote but we haven't needed that yet. It's very quiet but it generates quite a bit of airflow. There are 3 fan blades, with an approximate diameter of 5.5".One possible negative: when you press the buttons, they emit a beep (you can hear it on the video I made), but I do not think it is too loud. You may think otherwise in the middle of the night.**Note: I may receive compensation for writing this review, and I received the fan free of charge. Having said that, we had just bought a similar fan for the same purpose, but this one has become our favorite.

Strong durable fan. Nice size and bright light

I tested several brands of fan for a camping trip in Texas in August for our tents at night. The other fans were less powerful and batteries died quickly. This fan went on sale and I jumped on it, and it was so worth it. We have three of these now. They have 4 fan settings, the highest is stronger than the other fans I had tested. The battery will last almost 7 hours at full fan. The good thing is that the fan is strong enough to feel it pretty well at 2 level, which will get you way more battery life. If you stayed on the 1-2 settings of fan level you can get a couple days out of it. It has two settings for LED light that is VERY bright. It has a USB charger port in case you need to charge, but it is slow, but nice to have as a backup. It has a hook to hang from the top of your tent. It has a setting to swivel back and forth that has a broad rotate and a shorter rotate which is awesome you have control on that. Lastly, it tilts forward/back and then also left ot right. These really are a great little fan purchase I would recommend 100%

This fan is incredible. It is so quiet and moves plenty of air. We have had storms here lately and no electricity so we have been left in the dark. This fan has a 3-level light that my daughter in law describes as blinding, blinding the neighbors and then can be seen from the international space station! It is compact but still moves plenty of air and it lasts forever. Best deal ever if you experience power outages in warm climate.

Omg I love this lil fan. I'm not a camping person so I initially got it for my hurricane kit. I plugged it in and fell in love lol. It works very easily when plugged and holds a great charge when not. It has 4 very comfortable fan settings, 2 oscillating angles, a multi setting light and a slot for the remote. This was a rlly great investment.
