Thought I would give this a try for home use on a rainy day, & I've just started working on small product shooting so I've read up on Pop-up studios & decided that I would give this a try. well packaged & quick delivery, plus a good price so couldn't really go wrong here. There is a saying ' you pay for what you get!' Even though the quality isn't great & the stitching isn't perfect but it was a cheap investment & I can't really compare with the very expensive brands. But this does the job & very well I may add easy to set up, but a bit of job to pack it away, saying this after a little practice it becomes easy also. I would of given a 5* rating, because of the miner poor stitching & no instructions of setting up, packaging & with hints & tip I give it 4*This product I do recommend to any new comer or even a Professional photographer if they are looking into not spending big money & having a nice easy to use pop-up studio for small projects.

Small nylon soft box tent cube for table top photography
It has been stated many times that the secret to selling items on auction sites like EBay is to ensure you have good quality photographs. I purchased this tent system to allow me to photograph items of jewellery and do so without showing reflections of the surrounding environment. In use the tent is very easy to set up but requires a specific wrist action to enable you to collapse it back into a convenient flat pack. The only negative point of this kit was the included coloured backdrops they had been folded quite tightly and have a permanent crease. I have tried to iron these out but they have not completely gone and can show if I am using a lot of depth of field with the lens. For the price it is a convenient system and definitely works well by placing two table lights on either side (opposite) to illuminate the object placed within the tent. The camera is inserted through convenient slots in the tent front.

50CM Box Tent Cube
Great addition to your photo kit,esp if you like to play around with lighting and/ or close-up photography. Using 2 flashlight units, and a tripod with this light tent,I have managed to produce some really nice close up shots of things like jewelry, watches and even (small) flowers !! Great fun,and at a very small price. As other reviewers have commented, the 4 colour backdrops do need to be ironed initially, however this takes but a few moments and is worth doing. Also, trying to place the tent back in its carry sleeve can be frustrating, but I just fold it flat and place it in a largeplastic carry bag and place it under the bed or on top of the wardrobe and it springs back into shape as soon as you take it out again !! All in all, a great little product,at a super price.

It's alright.
Based on the price and the reviews I wasn't expecting a top quality product but thought it would be adequate for my still life project. Unfortunately the issues with the backdrops really let the product down. I did try ironing them and did get them relatively smooth. The problem was attaching the backdrop (they attach to the tent with velcro). The size didn't seem quite right and it was impossible to get a nice seamless background. In the end I used two pieces of a4 paper in the tent and edited out the gap (which couldn't be done perfectly so still didn't get the desired results). So really only the tent was useful, it softens and diffuses the light and prevents reflections, so with the right lighting set up it did help me get better results than without it. It's a good size. I was photographing items around 8" tall and they fitted well. It's probably most ideal for product shots (perfect for small items for Ebay), but can potentially be quite restricting for more creative purposes due to limitations with angles, composition, framing. So if you're looking for something cheap to do a simple (but perhaps not top notch professional standard) job then it might be a worthwhile purchase.

Exceptional Value For Money
I bought this light tent because it was the cheapest I could find, and I wanted to a experiment taking photos for use in presentations, before committing to a more expensive one. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised with the eSecure, and for the money (£10 at time of purchase), I certainly didn't expect anything more. Biggest downsides are that 50cm means it's a bit too easy to find the tent wall creeping into shot, and the "white" backdrop appears slightly grey when the photo is transferred to a computer (it's possible that I could fix this by adjusting my camera, or through use of better lights). These are minor gripes considering the price and intended use though. It turned out to be good enough that I'm in no rush to buy anything better.

Made my life so much easier
Not for the pro photographer obviously but it has made my life so much easier! I just put my item inside the box, in good natural light, snap and done. I edit most of the photos on photoshop to make them even brighter. If you're looking for a really pro photograph you don't have to mess around with too much in editing, this might not be your thing but it certainly works for me for a point, shoot and edit. The tent itself was very creased though and still is even after months of use, which can sometimes create shadow on the image. This is the only disappointing fault.

Photography Tent.
I have been a photographer for some time now and have only just recently got into photographing minatures and some product photography. This item suits my needs perfectly. For the price this cannot be beaten.Having read some of the negative reviews on this site I could not believe they are talking about the same product. If something is creased then iron it. 5 mins with a warm iron for the tent and the backdrops before shooting does wonders.I ironed my backdrops and placed them carefully and the photos I get are really very good.I bought a couple of LED flashlights with adjustable beams and mount them on cheap tripods outside the tent. This gives me the right amount of light to get some great product shots and this item has paid for itself many times over in the last few weeks.Delivery and packaging were also very good.
