Tough as mountain boots .. i love this thing . Wide for the camp or spot for mid distances . Pretty bright two settings for both lenses . Energiser torches last ages . Other companies take note

This headlamp very bright and easy to use having 2 separate switches for the spot (2 levels of brightness) and flood (2 levels of brightness) . It is quite bulky though with the battery pack (quite large accommodating 3AA batteries) at the back and cable round the strap. This is better suited to being fitted to a helmet for which it comes with self adhesive attachments. The larger batteries however don’t make it last any longer.
