DIYnik Esp8266 Wemos Weather Station IoT Starter Kit, with 0.96 iic Oled Display, for Arduino

It was good fun to build, but my screen was greeny-blue and not white. Not a deal breaker, but swapped it for one I had in stock. Would have been great to have a barometer too, but meh!

The kit uses a DHT22's, which has the disadvantages that is it is slow and it's 1-wire pulse width modulation to send temperature and humidity, which at best allows one sample every two seconds; the only advantage of the DHT22 is it's 1-wire connection allows several sensors to be monitored, 1 per spare I/O pin. I know this without getting this kit because I've used a DHT22 with a Raspberry Pi.The BME180 looks much better because also it also measures air pressure, which all decent weather stations measure, and via faster I2C or SPI, so this kit would be much better with a BME180 board.
