Sealed !
Our house has a little conservatory which is now some years old. Although it has a nice glass roof this came at the price of a glass-fibre moulded capping which I have never liked.A couple of years ago this started leaking and the floor would be covered in these horrible dark brown splodges that seemed to go everywhere.A nice man came and replaced the plastic ridge detail with some nice aluminium pre-coloured and pre-cast ridging. This looked much better than the original plastic ridge detail but sadly the roof still leaked. He came back and resealed it and unfortunately it still leaked. He told me that he’d sealed it to bu**ery – sorry, a word that Amazon would not like. He’d acted in good faith, so I started scratching my head. It struck me that it was probably not the seal that was incomplete but the fibreglass that had failed perhaps with micro fissures that had started leaking.I went to my local DIY store and bought this black rubbery stuff which I applied in a couple of coats. This cured it until this winter when we had a little snow and it started leaking worse than ever. It struck me that if the fibreglass was failing then I had to repair like with like. I sent off from Amazon for this fibreglass resin kit which was inexpensive, delivered quickly and seemed easy to mix.I used a syringe to get the hardener mix correct. There are two tins each of 250 mls so I used 7.5mls for each. I used one and then repeated it using the other after a few days. Please note in the harsh and cold weather you would probably need to add more catalyst as the cold weather slows the ‘curing’ process. I also had to make sure that the surface was dry which again can be difficult in current conditions!Once mixed it can easily be rollered along the entire area. I found that 250 mls was enough to provide two coats. I then repeated these after a few days. Please note it smells pretty intrusively and it was a good job that I was working outside. Please also remember gloves and of course the small roller that I used could be thrown away.Touch wood, it seems to have worked and the conservatory has remained dry even through the even harsher conditions of this week. I thought come spring or summer I would recoat again and may even get some glass fibre strip which I see is available on Amazon to make the coating even more substantial. Of course if I do this I will need to use more resin to bed each layer down as I do it. For now, however, as the winter storms blow, the conservatory remains dry.

Worked great, don't forget to buy disposable brushes!
I used this to protect some wood that will be outside permanently. Worked just as I wanted. Looks really good and seems hardy. I'd recommend electronic scales for doing the mixing with the hardener as there isn't a doser. First time I used it I put too much hardener in and had to really rush the work before the pot hardened (with the brush in it!). Second usage was better, but you should stop when it starts to harden to avoid lumps. One other thing buy some cheap brushes at a pound shop (or Amazon add-on item one for a quid or two) because you can't use the brushes for anything else afterwards, they will be going in the bin - with a thud!Adding to this review: After the wood (pine) had been outside through winter it had darkened, so I would recommend use of a wood preserver first as an undercoat.

comes with liquid hardener / easier to mix in than paste
I like this resin as it comes with a plastic bottle of liquid hardener which is easier to mix in properly compared to other paste (red colour) type hardeners, I use resin a lot making rc model boats and submarines, my latest project the submarine from voyage to the bottom of the sea tv series is what this resin is for.

very good
very good for what I was using it for, only problem I had was that the harder was hard to control when trying to add to the resin, it could have done with a drip cap to help control the speed it came out at
