Best of Both Worlds – Russell Hobbs Steam Genie 2in1 Handheld Clothes Steamer
I recently bought the Russell Hobbs Steam Genie 2in1 Handheld Clothes Steamer, and it has completely revolutionized my laundry routine. This device truly offers the best of both worlds by combining the convenience of a handheld steamer with the effectiveness of an iron. Before using the Steam Genie, I had a separate power steam iron and a stand steamer. Now, this single device has replaced both, saving me space and hassle. It’s incredibly easy to switch between steaming and ironing modes, making it versatile for all types of fabrics and wrinkles. The handheld steamer is perfect for quick touch-ups and delicate fabrics, while the ironing option handles more stubborn wrinkles with ease. The steam output is strong and consistent, and it heats up quickly, so I can get to work right away. The compact design is another big plus. It’s easy to store and perfect for travel, ensuring that my clothes always look their best no matter where I am.In summary, the Russell Hobbs Steam Genie 2in1 is a game-changer. It offers the convenience and flexibility of both a steamer and an iron, effectively replacing the need for multiple devices. If you're looking for a versatile, space-saving solution for your ironing and steaming needs, this is it!

It's a very useful alternative to a full steam iron
Unfortunately, I wanted a steamer, one that produced steam at high power to refresh garments and to use whilst making clothes. If this is what you want, there are better alternatives. However, if you are looking for an iron and want to save a bit of money on a very good alternative, this is an excellent purchase. It is relatively small and very easy to handle. You still need a flat, heatproof surface on which to iron, if you don't have an ironing board that is. I like this in particular as you are not applying heat to a fabric, it's just the steam that's working but you do press down on the unit, you don't direct the steam in a general direction, it gets into the fibres by pressing the plate down onto the garment/item and the stem then is pushed through the fibres. It definitely isn't for travel, it's quite heavy but the fact that it's sturdy means it's more effective when used, because it's not based on a shot of steam. I do hope this makes sense.

Heats up quick and has great steam output.
I wasn't sure about this, I wanted the new Tefal but it was expensive, but I went for it and I'm so glad I did, works better than my iron. I keep it in my bedroom so now I can get that shirt ready for work in no time. One of my best purchases.

Does the job well
I'm liking this device and thinking of purchasing the portable and foldable board to go with it. Plenty of steam and gets the creases out. I hate ironing and avoid it like the plague, so this is really useful to have handy if you get something out of the wardrobe that needs a quick run over before wearing.

Great steamer
Needed a new garment steamer but was looking for a upgrade in quality as well as replacement,This is amazing !!! This is a 2 in 1and for someone who has always used steamer instead of ironing I’m very pleasedQuick and easy to use,Although it does use the water very quickly because of its high power and is also a little heavy on the wrist overall this is the best steamer I’ve had

Russel Hobbs Hand Held Steamer + Iron - could have been good but...
Nicely packaged, this product comes with a stack of user and professional reviews that are highly promising. Not only a steamer but also a small iron, a two-in-one product. It appears neatly made, is quite lightweight and is easy to hold. the instructions are also self-eplanatory.I have left a 4 star rating for this because of the design, the price and the accessories that are included. However, I am unable to comment on its usability because the product I received didn't actually work and so needed to be returned. When ready, I will purchase another steamer - but likely a different brand.

Had to wear creased dress to wedding as this was so useless
Completely useless. Bought because of the good reviews, but tried to use for de-creasing a dress and shirts after travelling to an event. After fitting the delicate fabric attachment, tried to steam a hanging dress, but none of the creases were removed. Dress was as creased afterwards as it was before. On a shirt, a a few creases seemed to be removed, but they rapidly reappeared when left hanging. Using an ironing board, shirt creases were removed, but many wet patches appeared, like when using a poor quality steam iron.Very disappointed and will be returning for refund.
