Great clock for bedside
I had been looking for a clock that I could read at my nightstand with red LEDs so it would not disrupt sleep. My 20 year old alarm clock was still going, but the alarm function only played static, and since I wanted to wake to radio instead of my phone, the old clock had to go. I was also looking to add gradual/humane alarm and weekday/weekend alarms. This clock is close to perfect out of the box. It has what appears to be an analog rheostat to control brightness- so you can gradually change it from completely dim to totally bright. It would be nice to have a clock that was brighter in daytime and dimmer at night, but I was still able to find a "sweet spot" of brightness with this dial that was acceptable to read it at night and daytime so I wouldn't need to change the setting once it was set.The radio is actually very sensitive and tunes digitally allowing precise tuning into FM stations. The speaker is small and mono (only 1 despite two grilles), but sounds very detailed for its size and very good for an alarm clock. There is no AM tuner. While in radio mode, you can "scan" to allow it to use the dial to move between detected stations, or leave it alone and manually tune in 100 kHz steps using the dial, which I prefer. It has a built-in wire antenna which pulls in stations very well; during a weather front I even picked up a station 250 miles away (not normally possible on FM - may say more about the weather that day than the antenna). You can also set 1 preset which is for the radio alarm. The alarm settings are straightforward, and the alarms can be set to daily, weekdays, weekends, or off. You can set two separate alarms. I find the beep sound rather annoying but that's ok because I was planning to use wake to radio either way.My favorite feature of this clock is that the preset radio station will come on (regardless of what station was played at any other time), gradually increase from quiet, and only get to your manually set volume via the volume control on the back. In other words- you can preset the radio alarm's maximum volume! The USB charger works exactly as you'd expect. I currently have a sound machine plugged into it.Some quirks:The manual says that when the alarm goes off, pressing the rotary dial will snooze the alarm for 9 minutes and any other button will stop the alarm. This is true for the beep alarm, but for radio ONLY the radio button will stop it (the others do nothing). That said, if you snooze the radio alarm, then while it's snoozing any other button will stop it.The sleep function seems to work perfectly as intended, but the button for it is on the back of the unit. This is not an issue for me as I've found I need to use a separate sound machine for sleep, but if you like to fall asleep to radio this could be annoying. One feature I wish this had is 1 separate memory for the radio: when you listen to the radio and turn it off, when you turn it on again it will remember which station you had tuned prior. But, after the radio alarm goes off, it forgets the last station you had on before this, and if you go to turn the radio on again it will tune to the alarm preset station, requiring you to re-tune if you listen to something else in the evenings for example. It would be nice if the last station you manually listened to wasn't cleared when the alarm goes off.The only other thing that could improve it is if the red LED clock version had the option of the woodgrain case, because a e s t h e t i c.Overall I'd give it 4 stars on execution because it is so close to perfect, but would nudge it closer to 5 stars given how much better a job this clock does to cover all the bases compared to other models, in addition to having a red LED display which seems more and more difficult to find new these days.

Love it!
My last name brand alarm clock was easy to read and had good audio. However it had minimal buttons so everything had two functions depending on a certain other button that was pressed at the same time. It is not intuitive at all. After years I still had to turn on the light to remember how to do anything on it. This alarm clock is fantastic. Very intuitive. Not too many buttons but enough that things are not being used for multiple options. I love the dimming aspect however I wish it had a sensor to know when it was daylight. I like it very dim at night which makes it useless during the day. It's not really a big deal for me. I love the blue as well.

A useful radio alarm clock though the radio reception could be better
This radio alarm clock from ANJANK works reasonably well. I got the version with the red LED numbers. The digits are easy to read and the brightness can be adjusted. Setting the time and tuning the radio station isn't as intuitive as other clock radios I've owned, but it isn't too complex to figure out. It supports 2 alarms, each with a separate multi-position slide switch for Sat-Sun, Mon-Fri, Mon-Sun, or Off. LED symbols on the right side also show which of the alarms are enabled. The alarm can be set to electronic beeps or the radio. The radio reception is pretty good, though sometimes it has trouble clearly picking up one of the local FM stations I listen to for morning news. The volume control dial is located on the back, and the range goes from silent to extremely loud. The top button for turning off the radio (not the snooze button) seems a bit intermittent. Sometimes it only disables the sound for about a second and then it comes back on. A couple times the radio has lost the tuned station, jumping to some other frequency, but the alarm time and clock time were not affected. I'm not sure if that was due to a momentary power failure or some other issue.

If you need simple/easy setup and control, this is for you!
I can't say enough good about this clock radio. After struggling with our old ones (1 on each side of the bed) not being able to set the alarm accurately (not good) or the time, in desperation I purchased two of this item. We are each over 80 so I was looking for something that was simple and intuitive. This clock radio qualifies in all areas. It's easy to set the time, the alarm, even the radio station. The instructions are easy to follow, and once you've done that, everything falls into place. The clock radio is light-weight, doesn't take up much space, has a display that can light the room or be turned down to very faint, and reasonable reception on the FM radio stations. I would buy it again and/or recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. Oh, and the price is right too!

Buy this!
I needed a new clock radio because my radio stopped working. This has to be the easiest clock/radio to set the time and channel. You use the knob on top of the clock to change the time/day and channel. There is a dimmer switch on the back of the clock for the light-up numbers. You can have it low or make the numbers bright to be used as a night light. The radio volume control is also on the back of the clock. The buttons on top are easy to understand. I don't need to get the instructions to remember how to change the time. The radio stations come in bright and clear. The volume on the radio is great. The only down side is the noise of the alarm. I accidently set the alarm and it woke me up at midnight. I do not need to use the alarm, but if I did, it is the type that would have me panicking when I wake up. I would deffently only use the radio for the alarm. Everything else I LOVE about this clock. It has been great on timekeeping, great for my radio station, and a great value. I hope it will last forever!
