The device works very well. There is a small problem with the indicator light for the right kick: light stays on for several seconds, the player must wait until it goes off to kick the ball again. That is why exercise is interrupted.

Not at all helpful for a team of boys under ten years old
I coach 8 and nine year olds, and none enjoyed this product. It wasn't accurate at all. If a kid hit a ball with poor technique the lights usually were on anyway. Also, the light stayed on for a true 10 seconds, so it isn't to be used for practice when you want to give a kid a chance to shoot rapidly (such as shooting drills).. Another review doubted the truthfulness of other reviews, and is hard not to agree with him. However, I'll give the company the benefit of the doubt as they honored the return policy without any hassles.

Great idea. No brainer for soccer kiddos
Such a cool product. The kids love it. Practice time was so much more effective and enjoyable last weekend. Highly recommended. This is a no-brainer for any parent with a kid playing soccer. Casual players or young kids will simply love the cool light up. Serious players (and their parents and coaches) will love the training feedback and the good habits it promotes.

Over priced and my 7 yr old didn't like it one bit
Over priced and my 7 yr old didn't like it one bit. He liked the lights for the first 2 minutes but was not useful as a learning tool.

I highly recommend this product
I am a former college soccer player and current coach. I highly recommend this product. It encourages a good strike and will let you know once you've achieved that with its lights. I have purchased 3 for my kids and let me tell you that they love the SOCKIT. I will also encourage this to my teams as it'll only help them with their overall striking of the ball. It is perfect for the beginners and works excellent for those intermediate players as it reminds them of how and where the ball needs to be struck.
