I was skeptical about this product. I have a beast that destroys everything, drinks like a slob and tracks water upto 10 meters from his water bowl. It has reduced mouth leakage by 90%. I was surprised the quality and how durable this bowl is. Happy with the purchase.

This bowl is great! Both the dogs and the cat prefer it over their 2 other water bowls. It is especially effective for our one slightly demented elderly dog that has been drinking excessively (no diabetes or infection). Drinking is her new favorite compulsive behavior and the vet says her urine is too diluted. The small amount of water that appears at a time prevents her from taking in too much and the ridges seem to satisfy her licking impulse.

We have a 100 lb Mastiff/Lab mix who drinks a lot and make a mess. We used one of the dog bowls with a large reservoir for a very long time. That bowl required a refill every 3-4 days, but made a hug mess. Towels and a drip tray helped, but not enough. I got this bowl and have not had a problem with water outside of it. Our dog is able to push the green floater down and access just enough water without splashing. It does require a few refills throughout the day (for big/thirsty dogs) but having a dry floor is totally worth it.

Don't expect your dog to use this immediately. It may take a little coaxing. My Great Dane puppy went to it no issue but my collie is was very nervous about it at first. Once she got comfortable with it, it was like we didn't change bowls. Our Dane used to over drink and then walk away dripping water everywhere. With this cup she doesn't make a mess at all. No spills. Such an awesome product.

This was exactly what I was searching for; a bowl to stop our dog from dripping water all over the floor. The green part sits on top of the water and allows the dog to lap up smaller amounts of water at a time. Our two dogs were able to get used to the change on day 1. This holds a large amount of water for the day. I thought it was going to be too good to be true but it actually works! No more wet floors and wet house guests.

Genius idea yet so simple. Only thing I would add is make a larger capacity option. My standard poodle is only five months old today yet I have to completely refill his water bowl 3-4 times daily and he spends only a couple hours a day outside. Bowl is inside with his food.Otherwise great product. No more water dribbled across the floor.Make a larger capacity and I will gladly beta test it for you.JB and KB

Awesome idea to minimize the amount of mess a water loving puppy can make!

I have three dogs, a Lab, a puggle and a tiny Chihuahua. Even the Chihuahua can reach the water when it gets low. Wish it were a little larger but ordered a second one to keep enough water on hand for the times we are not home.
