Paddington Bear 157A Wooden Playhouse Set, 22 Pcs, Ages 3 Years+

I’ve been wanting a paddington playset and I thought this would be cute. It arrived in 2 days which was great. Upon opening the whole bottom piece had fallen apart, but I wasn’t upset I’ll get some wood glue hopefully it will stick back. The rest was in tack. But I’ll touch them up too. It’s a cute concept. My kids will love it. The price was high so I did wish it was glued properly but I’m still happy with it. Hopefully the next paddington playset would be a treehouse made of plastic. With plastic characters.

This toy is absolute junk! The wooden house has fallen apart after multiple times of hot gluing it back together. It's so cheaply made and was not a cheap price. I will attempt to return it, it's complete garbage.

My grade school daughter is obsessed with London and adores this show. It is one of her calm activities; just settling down after a hectic day and being drawn into a sweet and adorable little world. We are in the U.S. and there are often babyish, plastic versions of toys that are meant more for little children's play needs. This arrived a little worse for wear, as expected from the reviews and long transit. But it was very quick delivery and not in very poor shape, considering. I needed to glue back two of the dowel supports that stack the home levels, and one side of the sofa. However, the overall item is just beautiful and SHE LOVED IT! It is very detailed and has so many beautiful an detailed pieces. The doors and roof all operate on elastics that can spring completely back to hold them out of the way during play or display. They retract back in to close. This is not a piece of trash, but much more geared toward older children who have the patience and dexterity to set it up and take care in playing with it. It is not a sturdy item that a toddler or young child can smash or play roughly with, and it has small pieces. It was just what we were looking for, and this is hard to find here. I am very happy with this item. I wish they would make a little Pidgeonton figure, or other wooden pieces that go along with this set. We love it.
