Luffy Nano Marimo Moss Balls for Cichlids

they are not lush green and healthy! mine came light brown and they smelled soo bad like poop! and they are way too small,the size of a dime,maybe a little smaller! (update) they are still brown,and now they are falling apart!!! picture shows healthy green balls,i got brown and no water came in container,they were all dried up,and they smell was horrible!! (update) seller advised me to do a 3 day treatment on the moss ball,which didn't work.they are brown and falling apart in to strands.i guess I got a bad batch! was offered a refund if treatment didn't work,will update again when issue is resolved. (UPDATE) GOT A FULL REFUND FROM SELLER. responded back very fast,customer service was great,wish the product was too!

Was not pleased with these "Marimo". As an owner of about a dozen real marimo, right away I noticed these were completely different. Like rolled up balls of felt, not fluffy. Clearly man-made, failed the "live marimo" test given here as well. Refunded.

It's cold here so they're frozen, but still bright green. I'll update if they die or lose quality. The fish seem very curious about it.Oh, and they really are nano! I almost didn't find them in the box of my order. I look forward to watching them grow, but in the meantime I may get a a giant one to add to my tank as well.Update: They're thriving and growing, getting fuzzier. There's one that rolled under the silk plants so it was browning, but I found it and put it in an open area and it's doing okay now.I separated the six into 3, 2, and 1--in my 20, 5, and 2.5 g tanks, respectively. The 20 just has the hood light and filtered window light(blackout curtains on mostly) and they're fine.If I get more, it will be the bigger ones. They're cute and O like them, but I'd like something more noticeable in my tank.

I have two large moss balls from petco. These are not the mini moss balls or a plant and look like a fabric material instead. Very disappointed and feel cheated. The first picture with the two moss balls are real and the other picture is what the company is trying to pass off as real moss balls.

Everyone else has a plant on their work desk so I decided I needed a plant too. Now they all look at me weird because of my incredible fuzzy green balls. I have named them Wilson, Fred, Ferdinand, Fabio, Thing 1, and Thing 2. Thing one is a little lopsided and Wilson looks like he’s always screaming. If I ever get stuck on an island I think my coworkers might desert me but at least I’ll have my fuzzy green balls.

They arrived very quickly, but they were almost dead when I got them.First of all, it seemed a little bigger on the picture it's literally in a little to go sauce container, and they were all smushed in there not only did they look moldy green but when I open them there was a disgusting smell. Thank God that Moss balls don't easily die, but it's been a week and a half they don't smell anymore, but they're still pale green there finally coming back to life, but it's not worth the price. I could have easily gone to Petco and bought one big healthy one for the same price with having to do all the next work.

These arrived so cute and healthy. Directions were clear, and with a little water they sink right to thier home. They are very green, and look great. Perfect gift in a tiny vial for teachers and bosses, or a desk gift for someone or your own desk. LOVE these guys. Good price point as well. Would order again.

I've had them a month and they have not grown at all. The fish don't notice them or play with them. They did however come loaded with nerite snail eggs. I know they came from these balls as they were the only thing that were in both my Betta tanks and my community tank. So far there are 4 snails. My mystery snails do an adequate job without these interlopers, so I am moving them all as they hatch and I find them to my Betta tanks and hoping they do not overtake the Betta tanks.
