I originally rated this product as one star because I received the instrument with a broken peg. I contact the seller and they asked me for a picture which I had sent with my original contact. I resent it and never heard from them until I posted a negative review on Amazon and they ended up sending me a replacement for the broken peg and extra strings within days.As far as the instrument is concern, It is beautiful and well made. I would have rated it 5 star from the beginning if I did not have the original mishap.

It was a great chance to buy a Kamancheh at Amazon. But unfortunately the quality of the instrument I ordered is too low.1- The instrument comes out of tune in a very short time and the strings are detached from the instrument many times without even touching the instrument!2- more than half of the string hairs are detached and it’s continuing as you can see in the picture.I’d appreciate it if you could change my instrument or at least give me another string. It’s really unusable right now.

I have to admit that when I'd ordered this kamancha, I was a bit uncertain, whether it's real musical instrument or just a good looking "ethnic souvenir". To be honest, this is the first kamancha I've got, but it's definitely not the first music instrument I've played. I have to say that it's really well made and once I played it, I'm pretty certain that it's genuine musical instrument with authentic sound that goes beyond my original expectations. I recommend this to everyone, who's looking for an authentic sound of "eastern strings".
