Works great and now I can use my large monitor.

I gave it a 5 star but it doesn't work for a surface pro 3

I was so excited to find and buy this product. When it first arrived it worked for maybe a week or so. However, I began having connectivity (no signal detected) issues. I assumed it was a setting or something so I monkeyed with it and it would work sometimes. I contacted support and they weren't helpful. It worked frequently enough that I did not pursue the matter for a while. Eventually the problem (no signal detected) occurred more and more and I stopped using my extra screen because frankly I didn't have the time to mess with it. Today I had some time and pulled out the extra screen and the adapter. It became apparent to me that the HDMI to mini display connector was loose. As I disconnected the adapter assembly from my main computer the mini display connector actually fell out of the assembly. I suspect that this was the problem all along; a loose connector which eventually broke free. It's too late to return now. I regret not being more proactive. I'll try reach out to the company again. If they solve the problem I'll revise the review.

It really helps me when I am out of the office

This made it possible for me to connect a printer and a wireless mouse to my surface pro 6.
